My wedding party, in alphabetical order, including bridesmaids, flower girl, and Joey's groomsmen.
We couldn't be more thankful for our parents!! We love you so much!
Hayden is the beautiful daughter of my bridesmaid Stephanie. Hayden and I have always had a special connection, and she is the niece I never had. I adore her, and look forward to our "dates" to the movies or Chuck-E-Cheese every now and then. She is sweet as can be and I cannot wait to have her be a part of our wedding!
Stephanie and I have been great friends since college. I am very close to her family, and value my friendship with her as she and I have only become closer over the years. Her daughter Hayden will be our flower girl.
My best friend at Johnson and Johnson was training the latest class of new hires, and called me and said "I've met your double. You two are one in the same." At our next national meeting, he introduced me to Brittney, and he was right. Brittney has been my partner in crime ever since, and I love her to death. For the last two years we went to the Kentucky Derby, the Barnstable Brown Party, and Kim Kardashians Derby party...Brittney is ALWAYS up for a good time!
Julie and I met at the end of my senior year of college, and I have been extremely lucky to call her one of my closest friends ever since. She has two beautiful kids, Ivy and Cole. Julie is known to come through in a pinch-after a disastrous wedding hairdo for Brookes wedding, Julie redid my hair, which turned out very pretty!
Danyelle is my girl that I have been friends with the longest. We met at Progressive Lighting, the summer before high school when both of our parents had just moved to the area and were picking out lighting fixtures. Danyelles career has taken her all over the US, but we have always remained like sisters. I brought her to the Canyons last spring and she loved it! I was so happy!
Brooke and I have been very close since college. We continually make each other laugh, and just enjoy hanging out together. We did the Susan G Comen 3 day walk, and it was an experience we'll never forget. This picture is pretty indicative of our relationship. :-)
Erin and I were known as the "Burbage and Straight" duo in college, and were great friends from the moment we met. After graduation we unfortunately lost touch but I was so happy to find her on Facebook, almost 10 years later. After reconnecting, we flew to Chicago to run the Chicago Rock-n-Roll marathon and had the best weekend. She is truly an inspiration, and a wonderful friend!
Kristin is my older sister, who lives in Collierville, Tennessee. I moved in with her the summer after college with my two best guy friends, to have a summer of fun in Jacksonville. Kristin and I enjoy a lot of the same activities, and often get confused for each other. :-)
Lisa is my oldest sister, who lives in Houston, Texas. Lisa is always either cooking up something amazing or making us laugh with her latest experiences. She is a mom to two adorable boys, Blake and Brody.
Thomas is my oldest nephew, as well as my Godson. He started skiing at 20 months and is smart as a whip. He has been skiing double blacks since he was about 5 or 6, and these days its already hard to keep up with him on the slopes! Every year on the last day he and I go all the way to the highest peak and ski the double black diamonds all the way down. This year was no different!
Blake is Lisa's oldest son, and also my nephew. He is a sweetheart, and he and his brother Brody took to Joey right from the start. This year he did great on the slopes and was so excited he was out there all day, every day-and then couldn't wait to get home to tell Joey all about it! :-)
Matthew is Kristin's middle son, and he is hilarious! He is always asking questions, as his mind goes a mile a minute. He is also a fantastic skiier, and we had a great time on the slopes this year!
Brody is Lisa's youngest son, and the entertainer of the group. He is always putting on a show, and not shy about anything. He already has some great impersonations, and keeps us laughing all day long. After he met Joey at Thanksgiving, he told me they were "best buds"....and Grandpa is his "best friend because they ski together and shared a corn dog."
Robby is the youngest of the 5 nephews. He is a sweetie pie when he is on his own. He is not a huge fan of pictures, and you can usually find him on the ground in most. He did awesome this year skiing, and even went down some double blues...with the occasional help up when he fell from his Aunt A.
Ryan and Joseph have been great friends since childhood. Joseph is so excited to have Ryan stand as his best man, and participate in such an important day of his life. Ryan and his wife Amber have a 1 year old little boy named Adam, and are planning on another addition this summer!
John is Joseph's younger brother, who recently got married to his wife Alisha in October in Naples, Florida. Joseph is very excited to have John stand up with him for his big day!
Joseph is very honored to have his father be a part of his wedding. He feels very lucky to be able to spend time with his dad and Donna in Atlanta on a regular basis, catching the latest movie or checking out restaurants around the city. Bob and Donna are retired, but stay very busy with their 5 children and 2 grandchildren.
Joseph and Tate met when they both pledged Chi Psi at UGA in 1994, and have been great friends ever since. They spent 8 weeks traveling through Europe after school and had a fantastic time. Joseph is excited to have Tate be an integral part of a new adventure in his life!
