And the runners-up...
Megan is my dearest Cousin. We grew up together sharing everything including our not-always-so-smart ideas. She is wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, outgoing and will always be an important part of my life no matter where we are. She has been and always will be my sister i never had.
Josh is my cousin and has been the closest friend for my whole life. I am so happy that he is able to stand up front with me and share in this new page of my life.
Melissa and i have known each other for about 7 years now. We didn't get off to the best start but have kinda grown on each other. I trust her with my childern and my deepest secrets. She has been through and supported me through some of hardest times of my life and i love her for it all.
TBob and Peanut have been my very best friends since high school. We have been through many interesting events together. The two of them hold so much in my heart and to try and list one before the other is near impossible in my eyes. I am so happy that they are both going to be involved in my wedding, because it is just another step in my life that I want my best friends to have my back and support me along the way like they have always done before.
Danielle and i met through her husband, Travis and my almost husband. We and have been good friends since. We have gotten to add several memories for our scrapbook in ths short year we have gotten to know each other. She has been a pleasure getting to know and i look forward to new adventures to come.
We all went to high school together and then onto college. I am lucky to have these guys as friends. I probably would have finished college if I hadn't ever met them, but then I would have just not enjoyed life. We used to have a Saturday night ritual of going to "The Hill" but now that we are older and our schedules are so hectic, we don't get to do it every week. I'm sure that over the years we will continue to find ways to get ourselves into some sort of trouble here and there, but as always... it will probably be worth it. The five of us always made comments about the diversity of our crew. We have the farmer who is always there to find a way to make you laugh as he puts you down and hits on your little sister, a sleeveless wonder of a countryboy who might fight you if you bring him something from that store with the W that ends in Mart (which we do not speak of), the nice clean cut guy who wears clothing that you might see in some fancy Calvin Klein ad in NY who always seems to end up sleeping on someones couch and blames the reason that he didn't go home on me, the Go big or go hard in your face adrenaline junky who can find a way to put you into an embarrassing situation in a matter of seconds just because he thinks it is funny to watch you squirm, and the skateboarding punk guitar playing guy who has always dressed in whatever you might find in an old dusty box in the attic and is truly "the weirdest guy i know". somehow we managed to make the mixture work just right and it will continue to work for many years to come and I'm happy that they will be able to be a part of this.
Lisa and I have worked together for several years. We enjoy spending time away from work trying to relax without the pressure of deadlines and phone calls. We have grown very close over the past few years and i am very grateful to have her in my life.
Kelley has become my little sister and my friend. She is a fantastic young woman, she is beautiful, honest and intelligent. She is a wonderful Aunt to the children as they love to have sleepovers at Aunt Kelley's house. I'm also very happy she has agreed to share her bubby with me.
Kathleen and i became best friends in Jr. High School. We were inseperable. We sang together, ate lunch together and were pretty good at getting in trouble together. (not too bad on her end of course) She is a part of me and i have been blessed to have known her through the years.
