The Perfect Fairytale Wedding - Behind The Scenes
I beleive that your wedding day is one of the best day's of your life. Every girls dream is to have the most beautiful perfect fairytale weddings, and I am one of them!! Of course in every fairytale, there is always a Fairy Godmother that makes the whole thing happen, she is the one that puts all the hard work and effort to create this fairytale dream, in this case thats ME!
The Bride is usually the one that make's HER day perfect, she is the one that get's all the colour samples, ring's supplier after supplier until finding the perfect one, (in her groom's budget, i might add..), she is the one that goes and taste's all the cake samples, and looks in store after store until she find's that perfect dress..ALL while she is working full time! - hey, dont they always say, if you want something bad enough you'll make it happen!
Of course I have to thank my mummy for being right there with me, every step of the way.. I dont decide on anything unless it has her approval..(she has good taste...)
So I thought I would let you in on the process and all the work that goes into the big Fairytale Wedding Dream...

Only 2 months to go!! It has gone so fast, and I am sure that it will keep on going that fast! Im savouring every minute of it! --I truly love planning my wedding and will miss it when its all over and done! I have to admit, im a tad wedding obsessed at the moment...its all soo exciting though... Bridal shower planning is in Progress and will be on Saturday the 8th of August 2009! Soo excited, i think i have like the bestest bridesmaids ever! If any of you are reading this, I appreciate you SOO much! and love you foreverrr..
Invites are being printed and sent out within the next week or twoo, excited about that and all is coming together well...

Ok, So you havnt heard from me in a while, and this may be one of the last times that I'll be writting something before the big day as its only 5 weeks away now..HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?...time has FLOWN!!...and there is lots of things to be done, lots of little things that can only be done in the last 6 weeks... Im excited for my bridal shower this saturday which my gorgeous maids have organised for me, excited to spend time with my close friends and family before the big day!! Its going to be at my house to be so that's all exciting aswell...WORD for the year EXCITING! haha everythings exciting..lol
Saw my beautiful creation of a wedding dress on Monday night and soo happpy that the vision in my head came into reality! Esther, my dressmaker did an amazing job, still a little to do, just all the finishing touches...
So thank God for his mercy and grace that has been with me the whole time! He has blessed us soo much throughout the whole planning of this wedding!

Sooo I have been soo busy lately with our house! Josh moved in to the house, so we are jsut doing some minor renovations thanks to my Daddy and thanks to Joshua of course..I get a nice new coat of paint!! I love desinging the house and picking all the new things its soo grand!!
Wedding details are coming along nice and smoothly...still stuck on a few things but nothing to stress about it's all coming together nice and smoothly... Guy's are all measured and suited up! There ties are being made at the moment..Girls dresses are all done and good!!....not too much else new going on...
Invites are being printed up soo they will be coming to you all shortly!! Sooo excited about them...I love them sooo much!!

Soo I havnt updated you in a while, so I thought it was about time..Although Im sure you guys can understand how busy one can be when your planning your wedding...
I had been away from home for 2 weeks with work, and didnt do ONE wedding thing..for TWOOO weeks...I was getting withdrawl symptom's and having wedding nightmares...haha but its all good, Im back to normal, and YES as soon as I got back I was thrown right back into the middle of it AGAIN!...
Although I have to say, everything is just looking soo wonderful at the moment...I met with my BFF kirstin (Maid of Honour) last night and we planned all the dates and things that need to be done...talked wedding wedding WEDDING stuff..was really great... I have had a few great ideas and really feel good about the Vision of my wedding that its my head, coming to reality!!
My themeing is all coming together and lots of things are getting done!! If I was given a dollar for everytime someone has said to me that "im soo organised" over these past few months, i'd be a MILLIONAireeee..hehe
I have just really looked back at my planning lately, and have gone..WOW! God you are just SOO great!! -He has truly blessed us soo much throughout our wedding and house...Im Soo thankful for the blessing that is working in and through our lives!! Only 3more months to go now guy's.....and I cant begin to describe how excited I am!!

In planning a wedding, you always get "up's" and "down's!" The important thing though, is when you get a "down" you handle it with grace, and dont let it yourself get out of control, otherwise you'll find yourself becoming a bridezilla!!
If theres any advice woth taking its this:
So far in my planning, I really havnt had any stress whatsoever, and everything has just gone nice and smoothly...
BUT unfortunently i have come to a "downer" at the moment and it doesnt feel to good, for a second I let myself get angry but I had to learn to walk in God's love.
Hopefully it will sort it selfout, with God's grace I will get through it, its hard but do-able... You have to learn to lean on HIS understanding and not your own, In my situation the problem is totally out of my control, it has nothing to do with me or josh, so I have to trust God and not let the Devil steal my joy!! Who knows...in some twisted way, it may just turn out for the better!...

Joshua and I got our engagement photo session does last weekend,we got them done at hamilton portside and it's such a lovely place!
I am soo happy how everything went! It gave us a chance to get to know our photographer, Melissa from Dreamimages and she is sooo amazing! She sent me through a teaser before I get to see everything else so I thought I would share it with you!!
I would put them all up once I get them!

Everything is just coming together soo smoothly and perfectly. I am so not stressed, and just feel so blessed to be able to do everything that I need to do. We have basically booked everything..except for of course all the small little things that are endless,but I have 5 months to do all those..WOW only 5 moths, I cant beleive how fast its gone..If I could give you any advice, if your getting married its too love every minute of it, because it goes soooo fast...dont get caught up in all the stress and just relax, and everything will come together!!!
We also chose the cake, I love it soo much! You'll all get to see it on the day..haha sorry no sneak peak's here!
We have our engagement photo shoot booked next weekend, soo im really excited about that! Should be really fun!! Well I'll update you on how it went soon...

So I just booked the transport for the day..
Were having Black 4WD's...YAY!
Was seriously like the hardest thing to organise hey!! OMGoshhh...
But finally I am soo happy its done and booked and an apsolute AWESOME price!!!
So Josh is REALLLY HAPPY haha so im a happy little chappy too!!
Last thing im stuck on is...CAKE!!
I still havn't decided what kind of cake I want...anyways it will come in time..

Me and the girls (my bridesmaids) went out for dinner last week to have a chat about all the things that we need to do, like hair, makeup, jewlery, shoes..was soo fun!! I am soo blessed to have such beautiful friends and i am honoured to be able to share my day with them...
I got an email from the Venue today with new event styling options and have to say I am totally undecisive about which one cause they are all soo lovely, the prices have gone up although, but they are all really cute!! Im deciding between two at the moment...
I have to say Victoria Park is such a beautiful and helpful venue & i would reccomend them to anyone thats getting married!! -They def get 10 for service, and I am totally inlove with the marquee that our reception will be in...
Anyways that's all the progress updates soo far...

Sooo... things are starting to get busier and busier, its comin onto only 5 MONTHS away at the moment and things are all falling into place, although the deeper that you get into the planning, the more you realise how much there is to do! We bought Josh's suit the other day and we actually got the first one that he tried on! haha soo easy for guys...We got it from Roger david and good thing we can hire practicly the same one for the groomsmen at a good price!!
Im stuck on a few things at the moment, soo still searching for transport, didnt realise how expensive it was to hire a car for the day, josh say's he's in the wrong business, he said maybe he should put the word wedding in front of painting and then he can start charging more too!!...haha funny boy!
