After dating for a year and a half, I was more than ready to get engaged! Josiah always loves to surprise, so he planned to catch me off guard. He came to Birmingham during the week of my spring semester finals. I had no idea he had stopped by my dad's office on the way to have lunch with him and ask permission to marry me.
