Great for history buffs, veterans, and anyone interested in cool tours. Wear comfortable shoes, because you'll do a lot of walking! Definitely worth it!!
Awesome little eclectic shops...a very unique shopping plaza in the heart of downtown, near Cape Fear Community College, where Tara graduated from Nursing School, and the hit TV show, One Tree Hill is frequently filmed.
This place has a surprisingly large amount of animals hiding behind their entrance! Great for kids of ALL ages.
Beautiful Gardens near Wrightsville Beach. There is a fee to enter, which can be found at their website. Hint: when you're finished at the gardens, turn right out onto Airlie Road and follow it around to Eastwood road and take a left to get back to Military Cutoff. The sights will be more than worth the short detour!!
I (Tara) am NOT a snake fan, but to be honest, this place is pretty cool! Would be great for kids, or anybody who's interested in animals.
This is not a Noah's Ark or Six Flags theme park...but it's still pretty fun. They have a few water rides, go carts, and mini golf (all purchased separately or in packages). Great for cooling off from Wilmington's heat!
There are 3 tour "walks" that leave from this location; the Hollywood Tour, the Ghost Walk of Wilmington, and the Haunted Pub Crawl. You can get information about all three of these tours at this website!
