Mt. Vernon Gardens is located at 6011 South 13th Street, and has several beautiful areas to hold a wedding ceremony. There are colorful flower gardens planted with annuals and a formal rose garden. One of the most popular areas is the long narrow portico that overlooks the Missouri River.
Stone church built in 1912 and lovely remodeled as a wedding chapel in 2007. Chapel seats up to 150 guests and is decorated with muted candlelight colors.
