Travel Information

Our wedding will be in the town of Mt. Crested Butte, CO, which is adjacent to the town of Crested Butte. Mt. Crested Butte is located in southwestern colorado about 4 hours from Denver.

There are a couple of options for getting to Mt. Crested Butte depending on how much flying/driving you want to do. You can fly into the closest airport which is Crested Butte-Gunnison Regional Airport (30 minutes drive/shuttle ride to CB). You can also fly into Montrose Regional Airport and drive (or take a shuttle) the 2 hours to Mt. Crested Butte. Or you can fly into Denver, probably the most economical flight, and drive to Mt. Crested Butte. It is a scenic 4 hour drive from Denver. From Salt Lake City, the drive should take 6 1/2 to 7 hours and is also a pleasant drive.

By Air

Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (SW colorado) and Montrose Regional Airport (on the western slope) are the two airports that service the area. Prices vary at both airports depending on the origin of your flight, so it is wise to check both airports for price and flight availability before booking a flight.

There are flights into Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport on United, American & Delta. Direct flights are available from both Salt Lake City and Denver. Most other cities will probably require a transfer.
