New Crop
Tis the season for candy corn. I am terribly addicted to candy corn and since we have had so much going on this summer and now into the fall, I forgot it was even candy corn season until I went into the gas station the other day. Oh, I resisted, but today I almost broke down. Almost.
Usually I go through about two to three candy corn bags a season. Naturally I do not go at this task alone, Dan is more than willing to help me taste the new crop. And as many candy corn lovers know, you have to get the Brach's brand to get the finest little sugar candies! I will eat any candy corn, and especially love Brachs!
I am sure this weekend will be my breaking point when we travel North to a friend's annual party and I find a package at the store....
UPDATE: I broke down last night, 9-4-2008 at about 9:45 pm while shopping with Dan for ingredients for some dishes we're taking to a few parties this weekend...I found a bag of Brach's candy corn for $1.68. A deal I could not resist. Dan and I approve of the yield of the new crop!

Try mixing candy corn with peanuts. It's so good.
