This past weekend Kari's Bug made it's debut. A trial run on Thursday around the town of Fowlerville was successful and the Saturday long haul to Pinckney only caused a head light cover to fall off and break.
Rockwell found a bunny hole over the weekend and managed to scare away three baby bunnies. Dan tried to return them to their home, but they managed to escape.
While Kari and Dan were spending thier weeking putting tile in their dining room floor, they captured some great moments of Rockwell and Cletus.
Kari and Dan spent their 4th of July weekend putting DuraCeramic tile in their dining room. The capet has been torn up since April when they had Kari's dad rough in a closet in the dining room. The closet was drywalled while on their wedding-moon and finally the floor is complete. Here is a photo story of their hard work.
Kari says, "Overall, the project went very well. Dan only dropped one "F" bomb and tossed one piece of tile across the floor. A vast improvement for most projects. Now we can shop for dining room furniture!"
On June 21, 2008 Dan had the opportunity to take batting practice off of former Detroit Tiger Dave Rozema.

Dan traveled to Chicago with 20 other guys to watch the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers game.

Aside from the driver side rear wheel nut that I can't seem to break loose (after cans of WD-40, super wrench, Kroil, propane torch, oxy-acetlene torch, impact guns, breaker bars, breaker bars with floor jack handle extensions, and the biggest hammer I have, she hasn't moved a millimeter) the take apart phase of the bug is complete.
Most of the new parts have arrived, so after some clean up, paint, and powder coat, we will begin the put back together stage. Updates to come.
Kari and the girls spend the evening at Joey's Comedy Club and Kicker's Bar in Livonia.
