Kari & Dan

Music

Kari has given Dan the task of finding music for their ceremony in Jamaica and a first dance song. They are open to any suggestions friends or relatives may have. Perhaps you'd like to share your lucky first dance song with Kari & Dan.

Dan choose the music selection for the Wedding in Jamaica. The CD included the following songs:

Procession Song: The Imperial March (Theme from Empire Strikes Back)
Recession Song: Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder

Champagne toast and cake cutting background music:

God Knows Why by Kid Rock
Chapel of Love by The Crystals
White Wedding by Billy Idol
Church on Cumberland Road by Shenandoah
Every Little Thing She Does is Magic by The Police
With a Little Help from My Friends by Joe Cocker
Lucky Man by The Verve
No Where to Run by Martha Reeves

Kari and Dan had a non-traditional first dance to surprise their guests at their October party. They began dancing to Ryan Dan's Like the Sun song. After about a minute and a half, they broke into their fun dance. Dan used his lip sync skills to House of Pain's Jump Around, complete with a black stocking cap. Kari pretended she had no idea what was going on, acting embarrassed and then getting into the dance near the end of "Jump Around".

The next bit was something from Rob Base, It takes two. This 20 second bit included the lawnmower dance move.

For Nelly's song, It's getting hot in here, Dan handed Kari a handkerchief and he took off his coat. Some classic dance moves included the shopping cart and the towel.

Vanilla Ice's song was the longest track, Dan tossed together some dance moves including the Ice Auger, Disco, Sprinkler and Dan even did a little lip syncing.

You Can't Touch This by MC Hammer had the traditional booty pat and quick feet.

The final song was Thriller by Michael Jackson which included some of his most famous moves.

"Don't worry, be happy"

Wouldn't that be appropriate?
