Back in 2005, Brian Geihsler, Andrew Whitaker, and Brad Range, decided to live together in the Hemphill Apartments at Georgia tech. In order to fill an apartment there, you must have four people so the three guys took a risky move and let Georgia Tech assign a 4th, random roommate. This roommate happened to be Reese, an outsider transfer from Valdosta State University.
Quickly Brian, Andrew, and Brad felt the need to introduce Reese to Greg and the rest of the gang. At first, nobody knew what to think of Reese... He seemed like a very easy going guy, but he was just a little bit different...(he had earrings). Very quickly after meeting, it was apparent that Reese was an awesome guy.
During the summer of 2006, Reese, Kari and Greg spent a lot of time together and became very close friends. In 2007, Greg and Reese became roommates and that friendship became even stronger. During this time, Reese began to date Maria (The maid of honor) and the two couples built a special bond. The two are now engaged.
Fun Fact: Greg and Reese grew up approximately 5 miles apart, but the two never met until College.
Paul and Greg lived together for 2 years at Georgia tech, but became close friends their freshman year in 2003. There is never a dull moment with Paul, as his witty sense of humor will keep you laughing all day.
Fun Fact: Paul studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
Jim and Greg met while living in Glen Hall Freshman year at Georgia Tech. The two became very close friends while doing important things like playing entirely too many video games, and eating too many hot wings.
Ironically, Jim is originally from New Hampshire and now lives in Atlanta. Greg is originally from Atlanta and now lives in New Hampshire.
Fun Fact: Jim hates cheese in general, but the only pizza he will eat is cheese.
Andrew and Greg first met while playing Little League baseball in 4th grade, though they wouldn't become close friends until freshman year at Pope H.S. Andrew now lives in Texas, which is suits him well as his nickname for the last 10 years has been "The Mex" due to his darker than average complexion and love of hot weather.
Fun Fact: Andrew worked for 6 months in Peru
Ryan and Greg met while working their first year together at Siemens in '07-'08. Even though Ryan is a Hokie, the two managed to become close friends that year which also included a three week business trip/vacation in Europe.
Fun Fact: Ryan is fluent in German, and lived in Germany for many years while in grade school.
Chris is Greg and Brian's older brother. Chris graduated with a computer science degree at Georgia Tech in 2003. He is Married to Jenny, also in the wedding party, and they both reside in Pittsburgh, PA.
Fun Fact: Chris and Jenny were married on September 19th, 2009. Kari and Greg are getting married September 18th, 2010. This means that all three brothers will have been married within one year to the day.
Brian is Greg's Twin Brother. He now lives in Seattle, WA and was recently married to Chandin in March. He also graduated with a Computer Science degree at Georgia Tech and now works for Microsoft.
Fun Fact: Greg and Brian are twins. Due to the lack of technology, their mother didn't know she was having twins until she was in labor. Talk about one heck of a surprise!
James is Kari's older brother. He is currently a Music Education teacher in Macon, Georgia
