Delphinus brings to you Primax, a special swimming program to interact with dolphins, that you won't be able to experience anywhere else. Observe the intelligence and amazing abilities of these animals. Our special program allows you to spend quality time with dolphins in a way that only Delphinus can offer, because you'll be able to soothingly caress their backs and in return they might surprise you turning around and asking you to rub their belly!
What truly stands out from your swim with dolphins during the Primax program is the Foot Push activity, were dolphins will impel you with all of their strength and make you glide thru the water! Sacred Paradise of nature, Xcaret was for more than a millennium one of the most important Mayan ceremonial centers and ports. Five centuries ago the eco-archaeological Park of Xcaret was known as the ancient Mayan Pole. Strategically located on the coast amid dense jungles of Yucatan peninsula, this city was one of the principal centers of marine commerce and trade in the Caribbean region. ONE OF THE NEW 7 WORLD WONDERS: Tour the most impressive of all the Mayan ruins. Find out for yourself why the Mayan culture was the most advance in the world. "El Castillo" pyramid has 91 steps x 4 sides and the one on top for a total of 365. The first known calendar, more accurate than the one we use today was made by the Mayans. Visit the "court" to see where the Mayan Ball Game was played.

Jungle Crossing - $109
Your exciting adventure tour starts with a ride in a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle that takes you to Rancho San Felipe, a small Maya family community where the Nohoch Nah Chich Cenote system is located (one of the longest explored underground river systems in the world).
Here you will take part in an unforgettable snorkeling adventure into the fresh waters of this underground river, swimming deep inside the caverns where you will observe stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations above and below this crystal-clear water.
You will then be transported to "Heavens Gate", another entrance to this beautiful underground river system, for a relaxing swim in its refreshingly cool waters.
A traditional Maya lunch prepared by the women of this community then awaits you at the ranch. After lunch you will have the opportunity to visit the ranch and its inhabitants, a small Maya family that have lived in this remote jungle location for the last 30 years.
