"Some people make your laugh a little louder, your smile a little brighter, and your life a little better."
Katie is Kayla’s best friend and roommate from college. They met freshman year and have been great friends ever since. Katie is a wonderful person that has stuck with the Bride through thick and thin. Although Katie isn’t from a small town, she’s got a certain Southern Girl charm, and never hesitates to sing the latest Tim McGraw song at the top of her lungs.
Katie and the Groom share a unique bond. She has always been Jordan’s partner-in-crime. Anytime Jordan wanted to surprise Kayla, whether it be for a surprise visit or an engagement ring, Katie always figured out a way to make it happen.
After graduation Katie is going to be the best RN on this side of the Mason-Dixon line.
Kayla has been so blessed to have found such a special friend and she is so thankful Katie has agreed to be a part of her special day!
Katie is one of Kayla's friends from college. They met during the Bride's junior year in a history class.
Like the Bride, Katie is one of three girls.
The Bride traveled to Katie's hometown for a graduation BBQ shortly after the engagement and quickly realized where Katie gets her kind, down-home personality. She has one of the most caring and welcoming families in the world!
Katie is also one of the best cooks the Bride has ever met! She is always willing to invite people over for supper for good food, a little gossiping, and lots of laughs!
Kayla can't wait for her friendship with Katie to continue to grow, even though they will be in separate cities during the Bride's senior year! Who knows, maybe Katie will start sharing some of those Cooper family recipes with the Bride so the Groom won't ever have to complain about not having anything good to eat!
Karli is the Bride's youngest sister. Since she was a little girl Kayla has always referred to Karli as "Charlie."
Karli is seven years younger than the Bride, but age is the only dramatic difference between the two girls. Karli and the Bride are very much a like. They have the same taste in clothes, make-up, and shoes and one of their favorite things to do together is getting pedicures.
Karli is very loud and outspoken, but that's proven to be a big help when Kayla was picking out dresses for prom, homecoming, and now...her wedding!
At the time of the wedding Karli will have just finished the 8th grade and will preparing to take East Surry High by storm!
Keri is the Bride's younger sister.
Out of all the Fulp girls, Keri is by far the most competitive. She has spent her whole life working to be taller, stronger, faster, and smarter than her older sister! The Bride and Keri have, and always will, share a unique bond because of their sibling rivalry.
Keri is a talented volleyball and basketball player. She is very athletic and is frequently recognized for her athletic and academic achievements.
Keri and the Bride share a love for Harry Potter, the Twilight series, and going to the movies.
At the time of the wedding Keri will be a rising junior at East Surry High, hopefully pursuing a basketball scholarship.
Mandalin is one of Kayla's friends from college. They met during the Bride's junior year in class.
Although the Bride has only known Mandalin for a year, they have become great friends. Kayla and Mandalin share lots of wonderful memories, mostly revolving around late night talks about anything - from typical 20-something girl topics to where they see themselves in 10 years.
Kayla will always cherish Mandalin's honesty and sense of humor. Mandalin is always a voice of reason when the Bride needs it most, and for that, Kayla is so grateful!
Although Mandalin is now a UNC alum, she and the Bride will no doubt remain close for many years to come!
Leigh is one of Kayla's friend and roommate from college. They met freshman year and have shared a special friendship since then.
Like the Bride and Katie Cooper, Leigh is one of three girls.
Leigh is always the life of the party. She has been known to bust a move or two, even when there is absolutely know music playing. Although Leigh has a lively and fun personality, she has always provided a listening ear when the Bride needed it most.
Kayla is so thankful to have shared so many experiences with Leigh. Leigh has been such an inspiration to the Bride. Through even roughest times Leigh always has a smile on her face - she will never know how much Kayla appreciates that!
Yozzo. The sound of the last name implies it all. Joe and Jordan met at a bbq, the first and never the last, in Joe's backyard where he as attacked by the friendliest bulldog in the world. No matter what happens or where you need help, Yozzo will be there. Joe has relocated to USC with his lovely wife Krystle so she can go back to school. If you get the chance, ask the old man what kind of soup he is making and what exactly a goozle is!
John Henry Francis. The name says it all! Jordan and John met second semester during freshman year of college at CCU. He introduced Jordan into the fishing club and that's where everything began (good or bad that's for you to decide). John is from a little place called Kentucky, and he is currently in grad school in Southern Mississippi learning how to swim with fish! John Henry has been through thick and thin with Jordan and he is certainly one character you will never forget!
Lucas is one of Jordan's younger brothers. He is the quiet kind of guy until you get to know him. Then its all about guns, hunting and trucks .. oh and can't forget about knives. While not saying a lot, Luke is someone who you can count on and who is always willing to help and lend a hand whenever needed. He has worked for Toys R Us distributors for almost 2 years and has been going back to school in order to enter law enforcement.
This is the youngest boy in the Horst family. He recently graduated from high school and is bound for college in the fall. Spencer is someone who is ready to laugh at anything and will enjoy life no matter what comes his way. So far his ambitions for college have taken several turns, but as it stands, Spencer wants to study biology in some form.
Anthony, one of the fearless leaders of the fishing club! Jordan and Anthony met during a club 'meeting' at his apartment in Myrtle Beach. Anthony is actually from Smithsburg and lived about five minutes from Jordan growing up. This man is the epitome of a fisherman (except he is allergic to seafood) and anytime the sun is shining, him and Jordan could be found out on the river cruising along!
Jordan and Michael have known each other since elementary school and still remain good friends. Mike is finishing out his last semester this fall at Coastal and will be ensuing a career in engineering. He is a good guy and has always been there for Jordan. I'm sure if you catch Mike in the right mood he'd have some good stories to share!
