In 2003 we met while doing graduate research in Venus, Florida (we had never heard of it either- it's right outside of Lake Placid...nothing? no? just look it up, then). Both at school in Connecticut, both doing research in Middle-of-NoWhere, Florida. The first day we met, we "borrowed" the research station's ATVs and went for a ride at sunset to go swim in the lake. Later that night, while up on the water tower star-gazing with some other interns, it was predicted we would end up together- they were right.
