King Nien & Shirley

Photo Galleries

A picture is worth a thousand words. Without going into lengthy detail, here we present some introductory pictures of the bride and groom. This is followed by the pictures of the pre-wedding and the actual wedding event itself.

Our happy moments together

Registration Day

We did our civil marriage registration at the United Youth Movement of Malaysia (GBBM), Petaling division on 18th December 2004. We seek the help of our best buddies - Fei Ling and Lee Hock as our witnesses, and they gladly agreed. Our registrar is Mr Lim Kok Sai. We appreciate all their help a lot.

The outdoor pictures are taken at Putrajaya, straight after the marriage registration with the help of Lee Hock.

We decide to take our bridal photo at Mondore Photo Bridal House. Our photo shooting day is set on 20th January 2008. On 6th January 2008, which falls on King Nien's birthday, Shirley went for their gowns try out.

We spent whole day on 20th Jan 2008 for our photo shoot, beginning at 10 am lasted until 10.30pm. A tiring, challenging and very exciting day indeed. Many of the poses are difficult to maneuver, but we think we manage to get by it with ease. Finally, we reveal here our fine masterpieces :)

We had our pre-honeymoon at Malacca since King Nien was working there for a month. We visited many interesting places as shown in this gallery.

Finally, it's our actual wedding day photos. There are altogether five different sections in this gallery. The first one is when the groom came to fetch the bride at her house, followed by the church wedding. There was also a simple wedding reception at night in Kapit. The fourth section took place in King Nien's house with the tea ceremony and the official opening of the bed (by asking the kids to jump on the bed). Finally, there was a grand wedding reception at night in Imperial Hotel Miri. Hope you enjoy!

Akashi (Miss) and Azhaoshi (Mr)

We spent a 8D6N honeymoon in Korea. The weather was very, very cold. We saw snow flakes, ice rain and of course a lot of wonderful places. It was indeed a memorable trip for us.

Showered with lucky stars, Shirley played an online game and won a paid holiday trip for 4 persons, all fully sponsored by Snickers. Thus, 2 weeks after our Korea honeymoon, we embarked again on another holiday trip, this time to the land below the wind - Sabah, Borneo. We brought along Siaw Lang and Sie Kee together for this trip
