Felix Munson, 31
Project Manager for B & B Glass.
Felix and Korry's friendship dates back to their junior year of high school where they met at a "Tutoring" center in Round Rock Texas. Korry who was there for Math help and his sister Kirra who was a freshman in high school at the time attended the center as well for English. Korry who was one of the two oldest members attending this center at the time can remember looking across the room from his Math table over to the English table where his sister sat, and noticed the other oldest individual attending sitting next to his sister week after week. Korry who was pretty over protective of his sister at the time finally introduced himself to the other fella "Felix" whose acquaintance grew into a distant friendship from rival high schools. Korry and Felix didn't see much of each other after attending this center until the day came for freshman orientation at Texas A&M University. Korry happened to notice in the crowd of new Aggies the familiar face of the guy who always sat next to his sister at the Tutoring Center back in high school. After the orientation the two met up, shook hands again, and "aw hell" broke lose over the years after that. From there time as roommates in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, their epic road trips across Texas, to the many "wing man" adventures over the years, the best friend spats, and sharing their examples in growing up to be the responsible adults they are today (so to say), you couldn't ask for anyone better to call your best friend and best man on your wedding day.
Wallace Cherry, 36
Aerial Application Pilot, Kubecka Flying Service.
How do we begin? Korry and Wallace met during his sophomore year at Texas A&M University. Korry was advancing in his pilot ratings at the local flight school in College Station. During a fall afternoon at the flight school in came this well dressed guy in his early 20s looking to do some flight training as well. Little did Korry know that this guy who spoke "more Texas" then he did would turn out to be one of his lifelong best friends. Wallace, a 13,000 hour pilot with nearly 11,000 hours of it flying below 50 feet, trees, and power lines keeping your vegetables and cotton pest free, is truly the kind of person you think of when someone asks "What are people from Texas like?" Korry and Wallace have both spent their fair share of time taking epic road trips across Texas as well as epic cross country flights around the country building a book of stories that only someone who knows them well can say "You know what, there is no way that could be possible but because it’s you two, I know it’s true!" Wallace is about the only pilot who can fly around Texas at low altitude navigating from town to town solely off of Whataburger’s. Make sure you find Wallace and have him share a story or two, but make sure you have your "Texan Speak Translation Book" because you’re sure going to need it! Some interesting facts about Wallace, he wears a size 10D boot, is afraid of snakes, is a big supporter of the green movement (as in money), and don't be surprised or offended if you hear him call his Hispanic wife "Brown Sugar." Korry has been blessed to have Wallace as one of his best friends over the years and is grateful he will be standing with him during the wedding.
John Wiesinger, 35
Park City Utah.
Airbus A320 First Officer, Delta Airlines.
These two best friends who met during their time as Sophomores in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. When John didn't know what to do with his history degree from Texas A&M, Korry took him for a flight in a Cessna one afternoon, he expressed great interest in flying, went to flight school in a few months after that in Florida, and a little over a year later John had a job flying as a Regional Airline Pilot for Atlantic Southeastern Airlines. Five years in 2007 later he landed a job as a pilot with Delta Airlines, a career path that has been unheard of in the first decade of the 21st century. You will not find a person more humble about his aviation career that John, and you will not find someone more blessed to have him as a friend then Korry. These two who are both gung-ho in their aviation lifestyles are the best example of friends who are polar opposites when it comes to how they live together. When you put them together that TV show "The Odd Couple" comes to mind. There could not be two friends closer to brothers than these two, but won’t miss an opportunity to roust on the other. As roommates over the years, John was the neat freak and Korry was a lot more laid back. From being there for one another when they needed that best friend support, to John leaving on an airline trip and Korry rearranging his alphabetically taller tapped books, moving his pictures off square, and not washing the dishes that had been in the sink for 3 days. Conversely, you would find John piling Korry's cloths that spent the past two days in the dryer with the dirty dishes that had been in the sink for a week on top of his bed, vacuuming the floor at 2am, and using a ruler to re-square his pictures. Despite ripping on each other at home, these two had the best times out in town as wingmen or even at home on the couch enjoying a 6 pack while watching the Oscars in the fish tank rip apart the fresh bag of bait fish they put in like a couple of red necks. Korry is very thankful to have John be a part of this important day.
Navy F-5N Adversary Pilot, VFC-13 Fallon, Navada.
As one of Korry's best friends in the Navy. These two met back in flight school and have followed similar careers paths since. There hasn't been a time during Korry's career in the Navy where Derek hasn't been some part of it. Whether at work being professional on the job or partaking in the many shenanigans they could go on and on telling stories about over beer, they have built a lifetime worth of memories that two friends can spend an ample time reflecting on. As you can imagine, a night landing in a 50 million dollar fighter jet on an eight billion dollar nuclear powered U.S. Aircraft Carrier can be one of the most intense evolutions a person can experience in a life time. Korry and Derek can remember their first time flying around a boat at night well. The nerve was high and the night was DARK, though nothing would let the personalities and candid shenanigans between these two over the aux. radio (#2 radio) be stopped. Despite all odds they succeeded at calming the nerve and qualifying on their first trip to the aircraft carrier at night. This was just one of the many stories these two have on the books. From the local nights on the town, road trips around the west coast, and many detachments around the country during their flight school days, these two have built a the kind of “outside looking in” perceived tight friendship that is somewhat uncommon in today’s military. Korry and Sarah couldn’t be more honored to have Derek along with his family attend and be a part of this special day.
Matthew McBride, 24
Austin Commercial, Dallas TX
This double major December 2011 graduate from Texas A&M can date back to the spring of 2004 when one afternoon at Classic Aviation, (The flight school at Dallas Addison Airport that Korry had been flight instructing at.) this young 16 year old kid walked in with his family looking to take flying lessons with the money he had been saving up. Little did they both know that following that first day and discovery flight that Korry would end up not just a mentor to Matthew, but as time went on they would both end up pretty much like the brothers that neither had. From the time Korry turned Matthew's first cross country flight into his first trip to College Station to visit Texas A&M University as a potential student, to the many trips around Texas, visits to Gruene, floating the river, concerts, Aggie games, airshows, or who knows what, Korry and Matthew have enjoyed sharing many great times together. It is easy to say that Matthew is in the running for the next generation's most diehard Texan award. Like Korry, Matthew is not afraid to express his love for Texas. Matthew is engaged to his Fiancé' Katy Bodolus who is also a senior at Texas A&M. Korry is ecstatic to have Matthew be a part of this day.
My Best Friend, Ivana. She and I have known each other for a little over 8 years, but it feels like a lifetime of memories. Ivana and I met in Newport Beach, California, and instantly had a connection. We've had a lot of laughs together and she has been a very loyal and loving friend. She is a free spirit, full of laughter and is an beautiful person inside and out. She has such a kind heart and is one of the most thoughtful people you'd ever want to meet or be blessed to know. My sister has been by my side my whole life and its only fitting to have her by my side at our wedding.

My beautiful future sister-in-law. The moment Korry and I started dating Kirra opened herself up, added me as a friend on facebook and welcomed me with open arms. I'm the little sister in my family and I look forward to having a younger sister with such vibrance and spunk. Kirra was there for my first introduction to the family and gave me the biggest smile and hug. She and I have formed such a special bond and I look forward to sharing our lives together. Love you Kirra!
