There are many thing to do while in Tampa and more to do just a short drive away.
Tampa Bay Lightning Game
If you come to Tampa early, there are games on Tuesday, Jan 29th and Thursday, Jan 31st. Since both my brother and I work/worked for the Lightning and Travis and I spent countless nights at the St. Pete Times Forum, we definitely recommend going to cheer on the Lightning.
Ybor City
Ybor City is Tampa's historic distric. They have shopping, great food (Columbia Restaurant) and comedy (Tampa Improv). Explore this district during the day using the trolley that takes you from Ybor to Channelside :)
Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens is a fun theme park. You can ride roller coasters and visit the animals.
Disney World
Walt Disney World has many theme parks and Cirque de Soleil's show La Nuba (we highly recommend going to see this show if you have the chance)
