The Forest House is a full service historic hotel featuring 28 guest rooms, 3 conference rooms, a restaurant and bar, a reception hall, and a deck perched over our beautiful flag stone garden patio. The Forest House can accommodate up to 300 guests for your special event. The entire hotel can be reserved for your event. Weddings
Imagine your guests watching you and your spouse exchanging vows with a backdrop of the Sierras and a 100 mile view. Spring and summer bring wildflowers and vistas of snowcapped peaks. In the fall, the hills turn crimson and orange. Light snows and fireplaces are part of the wedding decor in the winter months, as you overlook the canyons from the Cedar Room.

For nuptials and outdoor concerts, reserve the Wedding Site, the Lodge's most spectacular natural setting. Here, echoing scenes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream," a grove of towering pines surrounds a sweeping carpet of grass and wildflowers. Ceremonies are usually performed at the outermost edge of the lawn, the couple silhouetted against the dizzying backdrop of Volcano Canyon.

Retreats
No more boring hotels in "Congestion City." Quiet, friendly, and detail oriented, the Forest House offers an experience that your staff and friends will remember. Join us for your next meeting, party, or reunion to hike, picnic, play softball, or just relax on the garden patio. Our historic rooms can accommodate up to 150 people for conferences and 50 people for overnight retreats. Additionally, the Cottage is available for a secluded getaway. With a full range of audio and visual equipment available, the Forest House is an ideal location to have your next business retreat.
