These are the folks who will be standing beside us and partying with us on the Big Day.
Vanessa and I have been best friends since they met in Mrs. Bazulka's English Class.
Fun Fact #1: Vanessa used to let me use her homework as her own in high school (sorry Mom and Dad).
Fun Fact #2: Vanessa used to bring me a turkey and cheese sandwich on a croissant for lunch everyday in high school.
Carla and I met through Vanessa and the three of us have been the best of friends ever since.
Fun Fact #1:We all worked together at Jacob's Field (aka 'The Jake', aka Progressive Field) in high school. Sometimes we snuck into Mr. Bill's bar after games (sorry again Mom & Dad).
Fun Fact #2: Our favorite movie is Moulin Rouge and we would sing the entire soundtrack everyday on our way to work at The Jake.
Italian soul-sister and Kent State roomate.
Fun Fact #1: We used to have two kittens named Brooklyn and Vito.
Fun Fact #2: Once I lost one of the kittens and didn't tell Pam.
Katie and I go way back but are best known for our days as roomates at Kent State.
Fun Fact #1: Katie and Lauren once dated the same guy (not at the same time).
Fun Fact #2: Katie's father is officiating the wedding and is the Mayor of the city I grew up in!
Sam is yet another fabulous roomate from Kent State. (I had a lot of roomates).
Fun Fact: Our theme song is 'September' by Earth, Wind, Fire. Also known as 'The Ba-de-yah Song'.
Sharon is a New York native but has lived in Ohio until recently.
Fun Fact #1: The first time Sharon and I hung out at Kent State she picked me up in her car, which I thought was a 2-door. After struggling to put down the passenger side seat so I could climb in the back, Sharon looked at me like I was crazy and informed me it was a 4-door.
I met Hunter in the 7th grade and we have remained close friends ever since. We both played baritone in the high school band together and took piano lessons from the same teacher for many years. As we matured through high school, college, and beyond, our relationship evolved to include mutual interests such as throwing water balloons at strangers and breaking into gas stations. Hunter is an engineer in Phoenix, and works for a firm that inspects nuclear power plants.
Jerrod and I grew up on the same street together. He is currently a teacher and coach in Austin Texas. Jerrod plays Ultimate Frisbee with his team, Doublewide, and he was recently invited to try out for the US Worlds team. If you ask, he will dance with you/for you at the wedding. SLAM PIECE!
Brian and I went to school together from 5th grade on. Brian moved up to Boston after graduate school to work for an investment firm. Hunter and I followed him to Boston shortly after, at which point he promptly left us for his wife, Anna. In his free time, Brian likes to ring peoples' doorbells and then run away before they open the door. He and Anna are also the proud new parents of a cockapoo named Molly!
Tom and I finally became friends in high school after playing "cat and mouse" for years, which is how we gave each other the nicknames "Catchity" and "Murphy Mouse". Tom enjoys the honor of being one of the funniest and most interesting friends I know. Lauren and I also really enjoy his fiance, Juliet.
David and I have known each other since elementary school and we became close during our four years of swimming together in high school. Lauren and I were happy for David when we found out that he recently opened a Globo-Gym® in Kansas City! David is a great friend, and I'm thankful to have him in the wedding party.
Colby is a great husband and a great father. He also molds young minds as a teacher and a state championship swim coach. We swam together in high school and I'm happy to say we are still friends. Colby was there for the water balloons, but not the gas station break-in. We did tip over a port-a-potty.
