9/17 UPDATE:
We have now gotten an alternative deal from Club Quarters. This is very slightly closer to Petterino's and has pretty good rates (see below). The cheaper rooms are a bit smaller than the rooms at Holiday Inn, but it may be what you're looking for if you're on a tight budget.
8/11 UPDATE:
We have squared away the deal with Holiday Inn Mart Plaza - see hotel info at the bottom of this page! We reserved a block of 8 rooms for 12/31 (two are already taken). The rate for these rooms are $154/night ($179.57 after tax) and they MUST BE BOOKED by 11/30 to guarantee price and availability. If all 8 rooms are booked prior to 11/30, we can get more at the same price as long as rooms are available. However, they anticipate that the rooms will fill up quickly, so act fast! If you're interested, here's what you need to do:
1. Call Erika from the Hotels.com Groups department during regular business hours at (866) 476-8771, extension 1520
2. Tell them that you're with the "Kozlova and Ogan Wedding". They may also ask you for Lena's first name.
3. Please let us know that you've booked a room!

We are also looking into cheaper alternatives near O'Hare Airport. This location would require a 40-50 minute CTA train ride to/from downtown. However, we're anticipating room rates to be about $100-120 before tax. This information will be posted here as soon as we get more details!
7/28 UPDATE:
We've been searching for the best deals on nearby hotels. More information to come VERY soon.
Right now, the leading candidate is the Holiday Inn, which is roughly 8 blocks northwest of Petterino's. Group rates will be in the neighborhood of $150/night. If you are interested in this deal (regular prices are in the neighborhood of $250-400/night), please let us know ASAP!!!
If you on a budget and are interested in staying a bit further from the city, this is very possible - please feel free to research other hotels. The benefit of being in the city is the excellent transportation system - there are links to plan your commute shown below.

Rates will vary somewhat by date. The rates below are what they were able to quote us for 12/30 (single occupancy; add $15 per additional occupant).
Club Size – (Club size with 1 double bed) $84
Standard – (Standard size with 1 queen or 2 twin beds) $99
Superior – (Oversized w/ kitchenette and 1 queen bed) $120
One Room Suite – (Standard size with 1 queen bed and pull out sofa bed in the living area) $159
Prices might be a bit more for 12/31 and 1/1. In addition, they have notified us that there might be a bit of a price increase for 2009. To lock in the rates, book your room ASAP! The rooms are first-come, first-served.
