Getting There

"Why would you want to get married all the way out there in the boonies?" Trust us, it's worth the trip. Here's how to get there. The ceremony starts right at 3, so allow yourselves plenty of time, and watch out for the speed bumps on Old Mill Lane. Another tip: Maps refer to 476 as "The Veterans Memorial Highway." If you ask for directions at a gas station, it's locally known as "The Blue Route" or 476.

Visually oriented? Here's a map!

This is an exciting, Google-powered dynamic map with lots of bells and whistles. The links on the right will show you area points of interest, and in the upper left hand corner, you can move left, right, up or down, and you can zoom in and out.

Public Transportation to Rose Valley/Media

Though it exists, I don't recommend it for a very specific reason. Rose Valley and Media are very conveniently reached via SEPTA's R3 regional rail line (seems to run hourly on weekends). Getting between the Old Mill and the train station is another matter entirely. You can walk from the Moylan-Rose Valley station to the Mill and back. This includes twisty, windy roads with no sidewalks where drivers ignore the 35 mph speed limit (and no bus on Rose Valley Road). But, if you really want to, you can plan your trip to have a cab meet you at the Media Station and take you to the Mill and then pick you up at a designated time. This could cost you an arm and a leg, but so will walking on Rose Valley Road in the dark.
