Our journey of life...
These shoots were taken at Baddogz Studio The Strand Kota Damansara & i decided for us to wear chinese costume & western style, as both my babies Naomi & Hachi had chinese costume & wedding dress. Wedding dress were tailor made by Auntie Maggie & Grace Goh (Thank you very much to both). We had fun for the 1.5hour shoots in the studio with photographer Liew Kok Hou. Thanks to Jin & Ann for offering the attractive Groupon voucher & top up package for me!
We arrived at Cebu on 7 Sept 2011 and after check in to Shangrila Mactan Cebu, we traveled to Cebu City for an hour. Arrived at Jaypee Noche & Emi Ayaq studio at about 12noon. After make up we head to Val San Diego (an old house which was more than 300 years old and it was well preserved & maintained until now which served as museum of antiques) for 2 hours shooting & we had lots of fun & laughters. Luckily there was aircond in the bedroom (which have beautiful bed, baby wooden cot, wardrobe, make up table, mirrors etc) inside the old house.
The 2nd venue was Cathedral, Magellan Cross & Sto Nino front walkway and so happened that we arrived during prayers time & it was crowded.
The final venue was The Tops (up hill) overlooking Cebu City.
Thank you very much for Jaypee Noche, Emi Ayaq & the team for extending to us such warm marvellous service and fantastic job done for the beautiful photos & memories @ CEBU....
Our 3rd party @ Red Box Garden and this time the theme was Uniform. Lets c how all of us dressed up!
The 2nd trip in the same month May for 2011. A group of 38 qualifiers for Manulife Oversea Concention Year 2011 from Lipson's group!!! Dream Unioners rocking Melbourne!!!! With the thrills experiencing tour with Harley Davidson, antique Rolls Royces of more than 50 years, as well as helicopter ride circling Melbourne city. Not to mention, feeding kangaroos, touching koala.... Standing in glass edge of Skydeck 88 Eureka which is the biggest challenge for height fright members....And the grand gala dinner whereby everyone dressed up beautifully for the grand dinner at Platinum.
The 1st biggest ever Lipson's group of fellow members joining Manulife Mini Convention to Chengdu China. Total 42 members from Dream Union were making so much of noises from the start of the journey at Air Asia LCCT until the end of the trip...It was a very fun trip with so many members laughing all the time...
This is the 1st Manulife Annual Dinner I ever attended since I joined Manulife and the happiest celebration as Lipson's Agency : Dream Union is the champion top agency in Year 2010 (the 1st time to be the champion). We celebrated with all the beautiful ladies wearing red color formal gown and all the gentlemen wore Dream Union MTM long sleeve shirt with smart coat. We laughed, we posed, we screamed, we cried, we yell, we wiseled, we hug, we kissed (of cos with hubby) for the whole nite to be remembered.
We had lots of laughter & fun in this CNY party which theme is 70s / 80s fashion. Everyone dressed up and we had fun snapping photos non-stop and listening to the performances.
On 1/11/2010 Sunday we brought our 2 puppies to Central Park Bandar Utama for orientation before obedience class start on 14/11/2010. We accidentally bumped into the committee for "Doggie & Owner Look A Like" contest. So, Lipson and Hachi had photograph together and me with Naomi. The photos been uploaded in Canine Sportzclub page in facebook for public to vote "like". We managed to enter the Semi Final for both small and medium category and the voting continues. During the final, we had lots of photo shooting, thanks to Shirley Toh (my best friend) who helped to captured every moment during the event.
Both Naomi and Hachi won the 1st runner up prizes (doggie food) which we donated to animal shelter upon received.
This is Dream Union 2nd group activity which is the 1st event organised by i magazine for us.
We fly around KLCC and KL Tower in private airplane as well as everyone dressed up for Halloween Party at night. Very fun whole day event.
Our 1st Dream Union Group Trip to Redang!
Lots of activities, laughters and fun with all the members of Dream Union.
This was the 1st Lipson buddies trip organised and we (7 of us) conquered the peak of Mount Kinabalu on 27th September 2010, as well as 2 days trip at Kota Kinabalu whereby we visited a massage centre after the climb and ate seafood for our dinners as well as drank Fresh Avocado Juice and coconut at Tanjung Aru.
I am so surprised today (6/9/2010 Monday) when i received a gift from my lovely husband Lipson at about 5pm. He come back without taking anything but after a while told me that he cant wait and walked with an umbrella to the back of his Porche to get something; while i was eating Shat Kek Ma. When he entered the house, i asked him what is that? He said a gift for U as our 1st wedding anniversary present. N i saw the paper bag stated The Hour Glass. Which i presume the gift is a watch. Then I opened the gift slowly and noticed the Rolex sticker once i unfolded only 1 side of the gold wrapper. I was so thrilled and surprised once i know it will be a new Rolex watch. At last, i saw the elegant and exquisite everose gold with white gold watch with 10 meteor diamonds setting on it. I was speechless and quickly hug and kiss my lovely husband. Lipson then helped me try on the watch and we admired it respectively for the next hour. Thank you very much my sweet husband, Lipson. Muaks!
This studio photography was taken together with my sister Kek Wan Yin convocation on 21/8/2010 (Saturday) at Foto Prime Damansara Perdana, KD.
We had made the cover photo a 20R photo frame meant to hang in our bungalow.
This photography session was specially done by my best friend Shirley Toh on 6/7/2010 at Kota Damansara for Dream Union.
A short holiday break - mini convention 2010 by Manulife. This is our 1st time to Thailand together. I enjoyed the shopping spree experience, food and the most important Swensen ice-cream.
This is our 7th oversea trip and its our 1st time visiting Europe...
This trip was a totally new experience for both of us...
We enjoyed the beginning of spring weather, the scenery and the marvelous view of the basilica, monestary, museum, park, etc which was awesome... Not to mention the local spanish dishes which were special and unique...
On 25th August 2009 (Tuesday), i was walking out from Caring and heading to my car when i received Lipson's call. He told me that he went to Taman Melawati and have a look at our old rented apartment. He recalled the memories both of us had spend there (for abt 6 years).
Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Spicy... memories... which both of us had walked through together...
N then Lipson date me for lunch at KL Hilton the next day (26th August 2009 - Wednesday) which he had made the lunch reservation. N of cos I agreed and I tried to hang up the call quickly; by giving the reason that i need to start driving...As my tears had started accummulating once i recalled of the 6 years we had been through (which were the toughest period of our lives) & at the same time, touched by Lipson's act.
N on the day itself, early morning when i wake up & before I off to work, I had tot of wearing dress to work. I felt excited as if like I am going to my first date.
I am surprised that Lipson even booked a private room in Japanese Restaurant with 2 sides of the wall with full height glass windows overseeing beautiful greenery.
Before the food was served, I actually asked Lipson "What are we celebrating?"
He answered, "Just feel wanna have a good lunch with you".
We had a scrumptious lunch - me ordering sashimi & tempura whilst Lipson ordered seafood teppanyaki with lots of big juicy scallops..... He also ordered a sesame ice-cream as my dessert! Sweet ending...
N at night when Lipson returned from work, he told me that his colleague told him today is chinese lunar 7th month and 7 day and its a chinese Valentine Day.
N i wished him, Happy Valentine with a kiss...
Even though we followed western style wedding, but we did this Guo Da Li thingy (for the sake of the elders'request).
These are the selected photos of my 2 days on 16th (Tuesday) - 17th (Wednesday) June 2009; Pre Wedding photography session at FRIM (Kepong), Putrajaya sunset & Touch Collection indoor. We had fun during the 2 days whereby i got the chance to sit there and let the Make Up Artist - Celine to create the suitable look and hairdo for me to match my gowns. Total I had 9 gowns - 4 Wedding Gowns, 4 Evening Gowns and 1 Kua; whereby 1 Wedding Gown and 1 Cheongsam were MTM by Micky.
Our photographer is Kurt and his assistant Lee Ying is so helpful and cheerful all the time making us laughed often.
I had my 2nd PS at last.
Had actually sign on this package since April 2007.
On 16th June 2009 (Tuesday),i arrived at 10am and Lipson arrived at 11am despite me informed him to arrive at 11.30am. He acted like he dun wan to have PS, but actually i know he is excited too.
We went to FRIM, Kepong at 12.30pm - 3pm wearing a big A line gown. Videographer Christopher Lee did follow us there for video shooting of the making of my PS, besides Bridal Shop photographer Kurt.
When back to Touch Collection, we had another 2 Wedding Gowns shooting indoor. Then head to Putrajaya for sunset shooting; wearing another wedding gown. So on my 1st day of shooting, i had wore 4 beautiful and gorgeous wedding gowns. But i only managed to have 2 photos taken during the 1st day PS.
I had been so excited for this day to come...as i can try on loads & loads of different style & colors of beautiful gowns....
The whole design & creation was DIY-ed by myself.
This bridal car decor is for my Outdoor Pre Wedding Shooting on 17th June 2009 (Wednesday). Plan to have it at FRIM at day time & Putrajaya in the evening.
I had come out with this idea of car decor for PS due to I had engaged a Videographer for my Outdoor Pre Wedding Shooting and did not plan to have car decor for my actual wedding day.
At last I managed to arrange for time to hunt for my cheongsam fabric with Micky.
I had changed several times on color of the cheongsam. From initial white, then gold, then silver. My main concern is will I look good in cheongsam. A bit worry though... But let c how by end May09 when the gown is ready.
Micky and me had a great time going through lots of color & type of cloth during the search...We went in & out nearly 10 shops...
We found nice border laces but seems cant match perfectly to the cloth which we tried on...then color too dull, etc of comments from both of us...
And at the last shop...Luckily we found it..... but with higher price as the lace which we found cant be sold in 1M, we need to purchase the whole balance of 2.6M of it... Which I have no choice but just take it, or leave it....hahaha...
Today marked our 9th anniversary of our 1st meeting date. Whereby Lipson came & fetch me with his white Proton Iswara on 1st March 2000. N the 1st question i posted to Lipson was " R u Indian / Malay? Y u r so dark skin?" N Lipson showed me his fattest photos taken when he was in Secondary 4.
Today morning, we went for breakfast with his parents and then we headed to Fitness Network for Body Pump. After that we both had 1 hour cycling on our own and I had switched on Jay Chou songs to entertain us.
N Lipson had said while cycling " When we both are 65 years old and we both will be still cycling like this together. By that time, we had already visited most of the countries in the world." I felt so touched by his words. N felt his love for me... so deep & sincere.... N of cos, i definitely will be with him to cycle like this forever and accompany him to see the whole world throughout the rest of my life... I love him from the deepest of my heart...
I had waited for exactly 3 months (on 18th May 2009) since my return from Maldives; for the edited copy of pre wedding photos from my Maldivian photographer. It required abt 3 weeks to deliver the parcel from Maldives using Maldivian Post to Malaysia.
Lipson had been making me as a laughing stock in his free time (of cos jokingly) as he said I am too naive to pay the Maldivian photographer in full b4 getting the final CD; which was too risky. N he said that luckily he insisted on a copy of CD with photos b4 we departed Maldives on 18th February 2009.
This is our 8th Valentine's Day which we celebrated together and this year marked our 9th year of relationship. N we had decided to have a special wedding photography session at the esteemed resort - Paradise Island Resort at Maldives which we will spend our 8th Valentine's Day.
This set of photos were not touch up / edited by the photographer (Muha) from Male' Capital City of Republic of Maldives.
We would like to thank Mayflower (M) Ms Chiong and Angie Ng in arranging for our extension night stays in Paradise; Mr Faizal,Mr Solih and the management and staffs from Paradise Island resort who had extend their support and friendly help in making the photo shooting session successfully done without any difficulty and last but not least the most important person.... my Maldivian photographer Muha and assistant Jos.
After India, we headed to Maldives for a total relaxed and peaceful time in a beautiful private island name Paradise.
Due to the news of the Maldives islands which may be disappeared in future. We had planned to have a pre-wedding photo shooting at Maldives to keep it as a memorance...
As I love beaches and seaside very much! This is the best opportunity to have the collection at beach & seaside....
I had always love the sound of the waves and swim in the clear blue water.
We had 4 days 3 nights private time whereby we will snorkeling early in the morning and evening....whereby we saw lots of colourful fishes, lobsters, baby sharks, huge oyster, eel, giant sea cucumber & lots more.... The best part was during all the time snorkeling, Lipson was holding on to my hand and we swam towards the bright orange sun which rise or set.... This memory will be never ever be forgotten....
As Lipson had successfully achieved the sales requirement for double tickets to India + Maldives; therefore, we both were very happy and excited for the trip.
I had been wishing to visit Taj Mahal since i was a child (it is 1 of the 7 wonders of the world and the unique part was it was the only one with touching love story related to it); as I had been watching Bollywood movies since my primary school days, i had hope to watch a live Indian show which we had visited Kalakriti at Agra to watch the Taj Mahal show which was so amazing with the beautiful dancers dancing and acting the story of Taj Mahal.
On 20th January 2009, i had attended the 1st every make-up class at Selayang which a freelance make up artist name Casandra Liau taught me the steps of make up for bridal & photography. I had managed to captured 2 photos which the make up was mostly done by myself. This is the light smoky eyes look.
My 2nd make up session was on 23rd January 2009 whereby I practise on applying the 1st make up light smoky eye shadows which is not really perfect at the 1st time, so i cleaned up and start the 2nd time which Casandra commented that its better, so she suggested me to practice the night before the photo shooting before i start to put on my shooting make up on the next day. N I also learned how to change the eye shadow color to blue.
My 1st fitting session of my MTM gowns was on 23rd December 2008 as per below:-
1) Blue Toga short dress for Maldives photo shooting on 14th Feb 2009.
2) 1st craft of wedding dinner cheongsam - which design and cutting still need to have major alterations.
The 2nd fitting session was on 18th January 2009 whereby I will try on:-
1) The completed Blue Toga short dress
2) View the final draft of mermaid gown on the manequin( but i forgot to take any photos) - what i can comment is I REALLY LIKE the mermaid gown! It is strikingly beautiful! Can't wait to fit on it after CNY.
During this session, Micky had informed that she will do another new piece of cheongsam for me, due to the earlier piece which I tried during 1st fitting had several areas which required major alteration and it is better to make a brand new piece instead. I find Micky to be very professional and a perfectionist! She is great! I like her...
The 3rd fitting session was on 23rd January 2009 whereby i had fit on my Mermaid Bridal Gown - the 1st fitting for it! With the sexy silhouette and the simple shell design at the top front and the 3 tiers of thin chiffon material on the nets accentuate the curves of my body...
The 4th fitting session was on 29th January 2009 whereby i had my 2nd fitting for my mermaid bridal gown which fits me perfectly. Only minor alterations needed to hide the crumbles below my waist line. And good news is it can be collected on 2nd February 2009 ready for my trip to India & Maldives whereby we will leave Malaysia on 4th February 2009. Yahoo!!!
Fabric hunting with my gown designer Micky Tan
We went Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman KL and walked-in at least 8 indian shops selling high quality silks...looking for lace which meant for my wedding ball gown.
After 4 hours of walking in & out the shops and seen at least 50 types of different type of laces...which some are so beautiful, some are so expensive (more than RM800 per meter)...
At last...we found it!
My 1st time trying on bridal gown...
I just tagged along when my best friend's fitting for her PS photo shooting at Washington Potrait Studio SS2, PJ.
