With many flights arriving and departing daily at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) in San Jose del Cabo, getting to Cabo San Lucas Mexico is easy. The Los Cabos airport is located 13 km (8 miles) north of San Jose del Cabo and 48 km (29 miles) northeast of Cabo San Lucas.

The average year-round temperature in Los Cabos is 78° F. During the high season, from October to April, the temperature is typically 80° F during the day and in the 60's at night. In the low season, from May to September, temperatures go up to 100° F + during the day and the upper 70's to low 80's at night. Boasting over 300 days of sunshine per year, the average annual rainfall is 10 inches (25.4cm), primarily occurring during September and October. The average year-round water temperature in the Sea of Cortez is 72° F, but can soar to the mid 80's during the summer months.
