My birthday started on a very sweet and romantic note with fresh flowers arriving at my desk in the office first thing in the morning, and then some other gifts followed. Seun decided to take me out for dinner later on that night and a few friends came along with us. Dinner was at Terraculture which happens to be where we had our first outing. After placing our orders, Seun suggested we go up to the gallery to while away time. Walking through all the rooms, we got to the last room to see a stand labeled “Conky” which is what he calls me. For a second, I tried to figure what that was about and there he was on his knees, asking me to marry him. Lifting up the label, he took the rings under it and waited for my response. I was too overwhelmed to speak that I went down on my knees with him, hugging him and forgetting about everyone in the room. And you know he actually got it all captured in pictures, it was really wonderful.
