Gift Registries

Wow, a message from Jim two years later and a married guy of almost two years now (hard to believe that the "Newlywed" distinction will run out in a couple of months!).
Hopefully our registry information will be of some assistance.
I thought that I would update some info for you while I was here ....
For some reason, Wal*Mart Canada discountinued their Wedding and Baby Registry service on January 1, 2008 (ya, I know, if Lori and my wedding was a year later, we would not have had this Wal*Mart service!)
No problem, you can still use Wal*Mart Canada, just let a relative be the contact and act as "the registry" - updating what was bought, etc.
Hopefully, Wal*Mart Canada will start up the registries again and join the rest of the Wal*Marts around the world in offering such a service.

WAL*MART
Okay, Wal*Mart Wedding Registries (be it anywhere in the world) cannot be accessed online, HOWEVER, you can go to ANY WAL*MART IN CANADA, and check out our registry information at any Registry Station located just inside at the front of the Store. If you cannot find it, for some reason, a HAPPY WAL*MART CUSTOMER GREETER will assist you and you will be shown the Station within moments.
Just remember the following information in preparation of using the Registry Kiosk --- Occasion - "Wedding" (natch), either/both Lori and Jim's first and last names (of course - lol) and, finally, the Wedding Date of October 27, 2007. These three (3) tidbits of information will be needed when you are searching for our listing.
btw - You can print out the Registry List as well.

THE BAY

Don't be fooled by the "Home" location info above, it just means that this is the closest Bay store to us and where the registry items will be shipped to. You can shop at ANY BAY STORE IN CANADA and do your registry shopping there, in person, at the store as well as online. Just so you know ;)
Anyhow, here is how you can do The Bay Registry shopping online ... click on www.hbc.com, then click National Registry .... then enter either Lori's last name (Strong) or Jim's (Smith) and the corresponding first name. Leave "Wedding" for occasion.

You are not obligated to choose something from the Registry as your gift, it was just created for those whom choose to shop on a Registry for Wedding gifts.
