Chris has lived in the Bay Area approximately 3 years. The circumstances surrounding his relocation here involved his career in the video game industry. Prior to moving to San Fran, he worked at a game studio, Origin, in Austin, Texas. (cue...texans stand and applaud)

Origin was owned by Electronic Arts (EA games/sports). The studio was being closed and EA offered transfers to the more desirable employees, of which Chris was one (no surprise there). So, the move to San Francisco ensued. Although a few of Chris' friends were also included in the transfer, they were mostly guys, and he found himself a little lonely. (cue...awwwwwww)

Lorrie has lived in the bay area for 10 years. She is a former Southern Cali girl and farther back, an Oklahoma girl (not an Okie..she hates that term lol). Lorrie has two amazing teenage kids, Ashley 17 and Brian 14, who keep her busy....busy worrying mostly. She is a Registered Nurse and works as a Case Manager with Sutter Health. She is very lucky to have a job she enjoys. So...even though Lorrie had a busy and happy life.....she still was...a little loney. (again, cue...awwwwww)

Chris wasn't much into the party scene anymore, so he pretty much just socialized with work friends at work. Lorrie was/is a mom and the bar scene wasn't really a desire or an option. So, utilizing todays newest way of "hooking up", they took to the "net" (no, not basketball, the internet).

Their first contact was through email and that was nice. Neither seemed like a psychopath. They exchanged pictures and that went well too.

Next came the phone call....

Wow, they hit it off really well. The conversation was so easy, although that could be cause Chris just talks a lot. :-D There was a spark. They both thought to themselves....He/She gets me. The conversation was deeper than one would expect for the first time speaking. They spoke as if they had known each other for a long time. During the coversation, Chris told Lorrie, "well, actually, I think I'm better looking than Denzel." Of course Lorrie had to see for herself and so accepted his request to go see a movie. And YES, she does think he is better looking than Denzel.

The rest...as they say, is history.
