Angry!!
Am really angry with WL! They are giving us bad services and many excuses! Have an apptm tmr to final fit the gowns as well as to collect them plus our album and wall photo. But just now Gina called and told me that the album is ready, but they saw scratches on the album, so have to send back for reprint. Would only be ready on 26 th !! So I was like “wat if its not ready by then!” But she just say confirmed will be ready one…arrgghh..then nvm..after an hr or 2, another WL staff called to...
Guo Da Li
Had a massive hangover when i woke up this morning. Luckily I was still able to wake up before 9am. Today is our GDL day! Law and his bro reached ard 10am with all the stuffs. I had to go dwn to help them bring it up..
After the “giving” ceremony, we went to Bukit Panjang where we need to pray to Law’s ancestors to inform them of our marriage, then its off to deliver the cakes to my relatives. Everything has to be completed by 5pm! Luckily managed to reach the last location...
My Hen's nite
My jie meis organized a Hen’s nite for me today. I didn’t expect it to be the way it has turned out to be! Tot that we were only gg for dinner and later drinks at a pub. But wat happened was that, I turned up in a halter top with jeans and heels, but that didn’t satisfied them. I was “made” to change into a halter white dress, wear a pink tiara and a pink feather boa :P At first the dinner at brewerkz started our pretty innocently.. until my “evil” jiemeis, Xuehui, took out some cards..so...
Happy Birthday dear!
Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR!! Sorry that you got to spend your bday today doing “wedding stuffs” But look at it another way, at least we managed to strike off some items off our To-Do-List. Law’s bday is spent, staying at home, waiting for the new bed, cupboard and computer table. So its pack, move and clean!
Never seen his room so "clean" before..lol Forgot to take a pic of the room wiht the new furnitures. Will take it after our An Chuang on 23 Sept....
Busy day
Did quite a few things today. Firstly, we went to Rasa in the early afternoon to test our the laptops as well as march-in songs. Also finalized the deco for the recep area, ballroom as well as the solemnization room.
After that, we went to the Registry to collect our ROM docs. Sorry to say, I still doesn’t like the idea of getting married at the Registry. When we were there, you can see the various couples ard, taking photos and waiting for their turn. When the no flashes, then...
Final fitting
Went for my final fitting yesterday. Am totally disappointed with WL's services. Firstly, my coordinator is on looooonnnnngg leave and we were not even informed about it. We were just being assigned another person when we were at the bridal. Secondly, we were suppose to be there for the FINAL fit..but the gowns are not alter to my size! So whats there to final fit?! My EG is too tight and my ROM dress is too loose. If both were alter to my size, it would be either too loose or too tight...
Preparing GDL stuffs
Sigh..there are wedding stuffs to do almost every day! Today's task is to do up our wedding vows (yes, we gg use our own), prepare the GDL stuffs (to tie red ribbons and paste the Xi sticker) and to edit my march-in music. My orange syrup to change his hard liquor ..hee... The bowls, spoon and chopsticks set (for tang yuan) All nicely wrapped up using red ribbons and pasted with the Xi stickers Law's pyjamas, slippers and towel (to be use on the eve of the wedding) The tea pot...
Xiongdis & Jiemeis meetup
Meetup with Law and his mum and we went to Shifu there to ask about GDL process as well as the AD sequent (this discussion took us 3 long hrs!! Phew...). Only then we realised that i am not suppose to change into my tea dress at this grandma's house, thus would have to re-arrange our AD schedule to fit tim to go back to JW to change before heading back to my home...duhz.. Met up with the xiongdis and jiemeis at Hog's Breath at Chijimes to go through the AD schedule and to explain the...
Photo + video montage
At LAST I have finished doing my photo and video montage! Have been looking ard for the longest time for the most suitable program to do up my photo montage. Thanks to Jimmy's recommendation, I used Picasa and its really idiot proof! So its another item off my list!
Bedsheets
Finally managed to get our wedding bedsheets. In the end, we didnt get those "xi" bedsheets. Instead we bought the normal ones so that next time after the wedding, we can still use it. We got it from the Home Fair at Marina Square, by John Little. Its red and gold in colour (sorry no pic for now as the bedsheet set is at Law's house). We also got an extra set for the monthly change of bedsheets. Hee another thing off my list :)
