Finished another 170 tonight! So that adds up to 300 and i am left with another 100 only :P Shall leave that to tomolo. Jia you! :D
Began my great challenge of fold, cut, paste today (my wedding invites)... done 30...370 more to go....
It was a busy day today. Took leave to run errands for the wedding. Firstly, we went into JB to collect the inserts. Stopped by our fav bat ku teh store for lunch before heading to City Square. After that, rush back to Singapore and down to WL to choose my ROM dress as well as AD tea dress. From comments from other WL brides, there isnt much choices for WL's ROM dress, thus wanst expecting much from them. But suprisingly, i managed to get a dress which i like. I was telling myself that i die...
Went in to JB to print our wedding inserts today. Its much cheaper this way. After setting the format, we only need to wait for an hr to look at a final sample of the wordings. One con for printing in JB is that, you need to check carefully the wordings. It took us another hr to correct the template and reprinted quite a few times before finally we are satisfied. Here is a sample of the insert.
Emailed Mr Yeo yesterday to request for the meetup so that he can brief us through the solemnisation ceremony as well as to sign the consent form. But he replied saying that he would be busy with church matters this month and asked us to contact him again in mid Aug...sigh...so we have to delay this step (to register for marriage) till aug. Tot that i would be able to strike this off my To-Do List soon...hai...
Am on MC today but brought work back to do. Was taking a break from work and was looking thru my feline photos and became itchy backside :P so i created another Save The Date card using our own photo.
Its lesser than 3 mths to our AD and there are still alot more things to do. I can feel the stress building up and the pre-marriage bluez coming...not a good feeling...things that i have yet to do: 1) Meet up with Jude Yeo (our JP), to sign the consent form before we can file for our marriage via internet 2) To go JB to print our wedding invites 3) Decide on Rasa bus location and do up the map (going to print and cut ourselves) 4) Choose my ROM and Tea dresses 5) View and finalised PS album...
Our parents have finally met up yesterday. We arranged for a dinner gathering at Tung Lok @ Arena C. No doubt dinner was a bit "Gang ka" but at least the worst is over and both side parents have met one and other. The purpose of the dinner was to talk about the preparation of the wedding and the Ping Jin and other traditional stuffs which our parents would want for the wedding. As my parents are quite modern and doesnt really want required us to follow all of the traditional practice, they...
