Fun things to do in Eugene! There is a lot of great nature stuff to do, depending on how long you'll be in the area (many of you live here!). Here are just a few options.
Gorgeous new art museum at the University. Parking is a little tough, but even the building is worth seeing.
If history is more your thing, Lane County had a cute little history museum that is worth the time...
I've never actually been here myself, but it's supposed to be really interesting.
A cool Victorian home that hosts tea parties regularly!
One of my favorite little art galleries. Right in the center of Eugene surrounded by great little restaurants and our unique, if somewhat confused, down town.
The Shedd puts on the Oregon Festival of American Music each August. They always have a theme and do a musical or two. It's a great group, and they bring some really high quality artists to the area. Worth sticking around for a show or two!
Just one of many great local wineries.

This is a beautiful and HUGE park. There is a developed side and a less developed side with miles of bike paths. I ride through this park on my way to the U of O from our house.
This is just a link to a bunch of hikes. There is a lot to do both in the Cascades and the coast, depending on your preference. There are also some hotsprings http://www.visitlanecounty.org/listings/index.cfm?action=showSub&catID=21&subcatID=217&startrange=All&endrange=All&substart=M&subend=S¬ify=1 . And Waterfalls http://www.visitlanecounty.org/listings/index.cfm?action=showSub&catID=21&subcatID=194&startrange=All&endrange=All&substart=M&subend=S¬ify=1 .
Check it out either the day of the wedding (before the ceremony, obviously) or any other time, if you're in town!
