Wedding Accommodations
Below we have provided a list of options for staying the Durham/Portsmouth area for our wedding. The weekend of the wedding is NASCAR weekend in NH, which means rooms will book up quickly. Also it is the height of leaf-peeping season, so rooms are a little more pricey than you would expect for New Hampshire.
We have room blocks at the hotels below, and we highly recommend you book rooms as early as possible. These are just suggestions, so if you are looking for better prices, there are several B&Bs and Inns in the Portsmouth/Durham area. When you call hotels we have blocks at just make sure to mention that you are a part of the Croteau/Greenlee wedding.
Three Chimneys Inn
We will have all 23 rooms blocked at the Three Chimneys Inn on a first come, first servce basis. The price per night for two nights (Friday and Saturday) is $177.65 + 8% room tax. ($191.86) Many of the rooms have a queen or king size bed with a pull out couch.
Rooms will be designated on a first come first serve basis, so if you would like to stay at the Inn, make sure to call early. The Inn is unable to accomodate children under 6 years old, so if you are planning on bringing young children to the wedding, you may need to look at the Holiday Inn.

Holiday Inn Express
The Holiday Inn Express is a five minute walk from the Three Chimneys Inn. We have a block of 10 rooms at a rate of 129.95 + tax per room/per night (includes hot breakfast buffet). There is a two night minimum. The Holiday Inn Express has a shuttle from the Manchester Airport for $45 each way. This would definitely save on the cost of a rental car, because of how close it is to the ceremony and reception site.
Courtyard Marriott-Portsmouth
At the Courtyard Marriott we have a Social Rate – NOT a room block. Guests call reservations and ask for the Social Rate. This rate is on average 10-
15% lower then the general pricing. As of right now, guests do NOT need to have a two night stay however as we get closer, that is subject to change.
Best Western-Portsmouth
The Best Western is also in Portsmouth just off of Rt. 1. This is about 20 minutes from the Inn. The Block Rate 10 rooms per night: $125 + tax per night/per room. You DO NOT need to book two nights to get this rate.
Hilton Garden Inn – Portsmouth, NH
The Hilton Garden Inn is in Portsmouth, NH, 20 minutes from the Three Chimneys Inn. We have a room block of ten rooms and there is a two night minimum to stay here. The rates are between $229.00 per night for a King Size Bed or 2 Queen Size Beds. There is $10 per day valet parking. You can use the group code: CGW to reserve your room. You must reserve by August 11, 2009.
