When Mandy visited San Diego on her High School Senior Trip, she saw the Star of India. She fell in love with the tall ship, and it would sneak into her thoughts as she tried to decide where to go to college. Haunted by the ship, Mandy decided the only way to purge her system was to live near it and visit it as often as needed to keep the distractions to a minimum. Since she can't sail off into the sunset for high sea adventures, Mandy will settle for the next best thing, and have it be a memorable part of her wedding day.
