Raised and studied in Los Baños, Laguna.
Took BS Agriculture Major in Animal Science at the
University of the Philippines, Los Baños.
Currently working at Maccine Pte. Ltd., a pre-clinical research company, in Singapore.
The Bride
Ivy/Byang
Lorielle Ivy Catalo Guerzon
"Byang" to her close friends.
Born on September 25, 1983 in Kamuning, Quezon City.
Raised in Quezon City then moved to Davao City.
Took BS Economics Major in Natural Resource Economics at
the University of the Philippines, Los Baños.
Currently working at GfK Asia Pte. Ltd. (Philippines), a market research company, in Makati City.

What: Pogs and Ivy asked permission from their parents!
When: sometime (or some months, for Ivy's side ;)) after the "proposal"
Where: Los Baños, Makati City, Davao City
Why: Pogs and Ivy wanted to ask permission and let their parents know about their plan on getting married :)
How: Pogs told and talked with his parents about it soon after the "proposal". Ivy waited for her mother to visit Manila, and told her on the eve of her mother's birthday! And then when Pogs visited home from Singapore, both went to Davao and talked to Ivy's father. All set! :D

What: Pogs "proposed" to Ivy!

Why: :D
How: Side by side at their table, amidst the loud music and the noise, Pogs whispered, "...mukhang hindi ata tayo ang unang aabay sa kanila (mga kaibigan), mukhang sila ata ang unang aabay... sa atin..."
Ivy sweetly replied, "gusto ko yun..." :)

"long distance relationship"
What: Pogs and Ivy started their long distance relationship!
When: October 30, 2007 until present
Where: Ivy in Los Baños then, now in Makati. Pogs in Singapore.
Why: Pogs was offered a good job opportunity in Singapore.
How: SKYPE forever!!! ;)

What: Pogs' friends and Ivy's friends became friends!
When: Whenever Pogs and Ivy invite them together

How it became "we".
What: Pogs and Ivy became boyfriend-girlfriend!
When: December 9, 2006
Where: IC's, Los Baños
Why: "May isang beses na nagsimba ako. Paglabas ko hindi ko alam andun si Pogs nag-aantay, tapos may matching masarap na food na pasalubong na gawa ng Nanay niya..." Ivy thought after then, "this must be it!!!" hehe! :P
How: After about a month of getting to know each other, Ivy learned that Pogs' memory on dates is not so good. So she whispered, "itong date na to tatandaan mo ha...? kasi ngayon "tayo" na." hehehe!!! ;)

How "we" got "contact".
What: Pogs tried to get Ivy's number, and her friends' too!
When: sometime in 2005?
Where: IC's Bar, Los Baños
Why: Pogs was trying to "re-introduce" himself while he was saying sorry for an incident that happened. He asked Ivy for her number, and her friends' too! hehehe!!!
How: While Ivy and her friends were in the bar, Pogs went up to them "again". Ivy gave out her Sun number. Occasional text messages were sent and occasional replies were given after that ;)
Before "we" got "contact".
What: Pogs and Ivy were not friends! In fact, they were "enemies"!
When: during college
Where: University of the Philippines, Los Baños
Why: Pogs was playing then (well, quite so good!) for the rival basketball team of Ivy's organization! And, Pogs belongs to the then rival fraternity of Ivy's friends! They never became classmates and they were never introduced to one another!
How: Every Sunday, Ivy and her girl friends really hated Pogs and his friends for playing (well, competitively) in the rival basketball team! Pogs was an ENEMY! Although, he was nicknamed "wow legs"! hehehe!!! ;)
