I had it planned for a while....just meant I was nervous for a while. I wanted it to be special in Colorado and we went up to Boulder with my brother and his fiancee. I told Benton I wanted to find a spot with a good lookout so he took us to "Lookout Mountain" where you could see all the way past Denver on one side and a valley of mountains on the other. It was at sunset with a thunderstorm coming in as well. I didn't think I was nervous until I pulled out a piece of paper I had written some stuff on and my hands were shaking so hard I couldn't even read it. I started reading and Mary just started saying "yes" to everything. I had to make sure I had officially asked her so I did and she said yes.

Thus marking the end of that story and the beginning of ours...
