PRE-NUP PICTORIAL
Our engagement pictorial has been scheduled!!! It will be on February 7th, Sunday. :-) We have chosen Intramuros to keep up with our rustic theme... Can't wait! Our pre-nup with Kemp naman (one of our groomsmen) is not yet scheduled.. but it will be in February too :-) We our thinking sa UP Dil or sa Heritage Park.. pero di pa talaga sure kung saan.. hehehe. Basta we want grass, trees and outdoorsy ang feel :-) With props of course!!! Hehehe... THANKS KEMP!!!
MY ENGAGEMENT RING
Tatay just gave me an engagement ring on 12.18. Hahaha, it's funny that he gave me the ring after 4 months of planning the wedding. I understand naman... :-) THANKS tay. It's really nice...
4 MONTHS TO GO...
We are feeling kind of nervous na... parang kailan lang, around August, kami nagsimula magstart sa wedding plans... and we now have 4 months left. It's difficult and tiring, pero enjoy naman. Kung merong mainitin ang ulo sa amin, si Tatay, hehehe. Pero ang pinakaworried, syempre ako... worried ako lalo na sa ballooning guest list. It's hard to make a guest list that does not offend.. sobra. So far, ito na mga na-accomplish namin: - church - reception - 50% payment for our coordinator...
MEETING OUR CATERER
We had a meeting with Ms. Maja Martinez on 12.06 at Podium. What a lovely lady... :-) She is so accommodating and very nice. Mario and I love the fact that she took time to get the details of the wedding, what we like and what we want to see at the reception... Sobrang pleased kami. :-) We can't wait tuloy sa food tasting.. I will ask my Maid of Honor (Genily :-)) to come with us para masaya :-). The cutest part is may mock set-up ng table... Hihi. I am still waiting if ok sa kanila sa...
OUR TAILOR
Yay! We have found our tailor na... Nakakapagod din maghanap, sobra! Hehe, pero enjoy naman kami ni Tatay. "Angela's Bridal" ang gagawa ng gown and it's swak na swak sa budget. :-) The good thing is I can return my gown if I don't like it. I asked for the refund/cancellation policy since I want to make sure I am satisfied with my wedding gown. My best friend will be coming back in January from Singapore, so masusukatan sya by January. My problem now ay si Nica! Hehehe, sana makarating sya...
THE PERFECT CATERER
We decided to change our caterer. :-) The first one was I think ok, pero very limited ang natikman namin ni Mario. Moreover, hindi complete ang menu. The last 2 weeks was busy for me, finding the perfect caterer. Well, at least perfect for my taste. I must admit, bridezilla na ata ko... and to think na April pa naman ang wedding, sobra na kong stressed thinking about the wedding. Sobra kong nagiisip,even the littlest detail, gusto ko ok. FIRST VISIT
Mario, our coordinator, ate Julie, Kuya Joey and I (kasama na rin ang makulit na si Ikong) went to Casa Manila and Manila Cathedral yesterday. :-) Wow. Sobrang happy kami.... I never thought na ganun kaganda ang simbahan. First time kong pumasok dun at sobrang ganda ng loob... Mario was so amazed! It's really a blessing that we will get married there.. I could not ask for a better church... I walked down the aisle and it felt good... I was joking my coordinator nga.. I told her na masarap...
FROSTINGS' PROPOSED CUPCAKE DESIGN
Frostings sent me a picture of their design for our wedding cupcakes. It's simple. Pero hindi masyado nasunod yung gusto kong color. Hehe. Pero I think it's cute na rin. Target ko sana yung Cuptails and Dreams pero according sa may-ari, part-time nalang pala nila yung business so they cannot commit sa wedding date namin. I really hope we could get them. By January, they will update me. :-) Have you seen their cupcake towers? VERY NICE!!!...
FLOWER INSPIRATION
Mario and I would like to use violet, blue and deep shades of pink for our flowers... To keep up with the theme na rin. However, I have decided to have a pure white bouquet. White Bride!!! :-) Gusto ko maraming maraming flowers since Garden ang theme. My coordinator already checked some suppliers at kung ano pwede naming gamitin.
CAKE ALTERNATIVE
I am still looking for our cupcake supplier... We decided to have cupcakes, kesa s a traditional na wedding cake. Though we will have a cutting cake along with the cu pcake
tower... Four atang suppliers ang pinagpipilian namin. Pero I am
targeting Frostings or Cuptails and Dreams (idea galing kay dad yow). Dami
ko na ngang natikmang cupcakes :-) So far, the best ang Frostings...
