Leesylvania State Park is located in Woodbridge, and has a lovely natural sand beach along the Potomac River. The Potomac is great for fishing Bass, catfish, perch, and striped bass, although you must have a Virginia freshwater fishing license (obtained from Walmart in minutes!). There are also hiking trails and picnic shelters available at the park, as well as a camping/convenience store and a small museum.
