Re-Visit our First Date!
Rocky Butte is an extinct volcanic cinder cone in Portland, Oregon. Its a Known attraction to visitors & local rock climbers, But more importantly, It's where Matthew took me on out first date after one of my favorite foods- Thai (see below)Following dinner Matthew handed me directions to be a co pilot to a surprise. When we got to Rocky butte it was gorgeous, panoramic views of Portland, feeling like your on the top of the world. We walked around the castle like platform at the top of the property, took in the night lights, and Matthew serenaded me with acoustic guitar while we shared our life stories.

This is the resturaunt that Matthew took me on our first date. I love different food, and one of my favorites is Thai food. Thai Orchid's is very authentic and tasty! they have several locations, the NW Portland one is the one we went to, but visit the website and they have directions to all.
301 SE Morrison St

This is one of Matthew and My favorite places. But if you go; be prepared, its very loud, you may sit next to a stranger, but the food is amazing and its a resturaunt you wont forget. Its a fun, full of exciting atmosphere, and unique place to have a bite to eat. When you try to find this place...you will think you have gone the wrong way, but those are the best finds. its under a bridge, basically in an ally, and there usually is a wait, so be there right when they open.

I love to go this park; it’s so pretty to enjoy a sunny day. I like to go here when it’s hot outside and bring my easel & paints, and if im lucky there will be an array of people to watch, listen to acoustic guitar from a stranger, and a place to paint the scenery in the outdoor ampetheater. Includes fountain, paths – paved, public garden & arose garden., bring a Frisbee to throw around, or just yourself to enjoy the garden walks.
