Calgary Stampede July 9-18, 2010
This is the biggest annual rodeo show in town when all of Calgary drenches itself in cowboy gear and the smell of pancake breakfasts. It's an event that attracts all members of the family, with amusement park rides, tons of games, prizes to be won, exhibits of various helpful products to sell, shows upon shows like concerts with famous artists, the renown Grandstand Show, dog shows, rodeo shows...you name it! Checking it out for the day is enough, or more than a day if you can't get enough!
If you're in Calgary for the first time, checking out the Stampede can be a worthwhile experience:)
