Yesterday (8/9/08), Daniel and I went to a wedding. A friend I met in Eugene, OR got married in Kitsap Peninsula, where we had to take ferry across the Puget Sound. This past Wed, I brought my wedding dress to a tailor for alteration. After measuring and checking the dress, the tailor suggested me to spend the weekend and look for a dress in a more recent style. Moving day
Last Saturday was Mavis last day living at Kent. Because the rent increase, she decided to move to a friend's house in Bothel. Mavis has moved many times since she moved to Seattle (U-district, Bellevue, Kent, and now Bothel), so moving is not something that she particularly likes. Poor her. Last Sunday after cake tasting, Daniel and I went to UW campus for a walk. When we were at fountain, we saw a duck mom with her 9 kids. This week is July 4th week. Daniel and I had our engagement picture shooting. Thanks our friend, Isaac for being our photographer. The photo shooting was fun. Sometimes, it was hard to act naturally when you knew someone was taking pictures of you, even though I had pictured many different ways in mind over and over. Retreat, Recharge and Refresh
This weekend, Daniel and I attended our church retreat. Both of us got a chance to rest and refresh our mind. We also spent some time with our friends. Either chatted, shared or played group games and UNO cards. It was a very nice weekend. During the retreat, through worship and speaker's sermon, God spoke to and reminded us different things.
