Dear Family and Friends:

We were "Maui'd" on May 8, 2009 on Ulua Beach in Maui, Hawaii!

We opted against the traditional wedding and chose to go away to have a small, intimate wedding. It was a simple, but very meaningful ceremony with just a few people.

Why did we choose to have a small, destination wedding, you ask?

* Neither of us wanted a typical center-of-attention ceremony - we both dislike being the center-of-attention.
* Neither of us wanted a wedding that breaks the bank. With the average wedding costing over $30,000 today, that something that just is not important to us.
* And, neither of us wanted a day full of stress.

We got married in a way that made us happy: a small, informal wedding on a beautiful beach in Hawaii. It was a beautiful ceremony and absolutely perfect!

We hope everyone understands and accepts our decision to have a small ceremony. However, we do hope to celebrate our marriage with you soon at our Hawaiian-themed reception on July 11, 2009!
