Here's a little about us...
How We Met
Truth be told, Maverick and Jessica met online. Maverick somehow came across Jessica’s profile on MySpace. He sent her a simple message to say hello and to his surprise, she responded. They sent email after email to each other and they knew there was something different about each other. Eventually they exchanged phone numbers, and again, they enjoyed spending time together. So, they decided to meet.
The First Date
On September 4, 2005, while Jessica was in Southern California to attend a wedding, Maverick and Jessica had their first date. They went to Gordon Biersch in Old Town Pasadena (unfortunately it has since closed down) and had a wonderful time eating and getting to know each other more and more. They then toured Old Town Pasadena and ended up sitting in Paseo de Colorado where they sat, enjoyed each other’s company and knew there needed to be more!
The Proposal...
On November 18, 2007, Maverick and Jessica were relaxing at home. They were teasing each other as usual when all of the sudden Maverick brought out the ring and asked Jessica to marry him. It was such a happy day and completely Jessica and Maverick - quiet, informal and perfect.
The Wedding...
After being engaged for over a year, Maverick and Jessica had not set the date. No, it wasn't because they were getting cold feet. They knew that they always wanted a wedding that was small and intimate and never wanted a big huge wedding. However, they kept thinking about how some people wouldn't understand their decision. However, they finally realized that their wedding was THEIR day and they should do what makes them happy!
So, they got getting married on a beautiful beach in Hawaii with only a few people present. They had the wedding the always wanted:
*Quite and Intimate
*No Stress
*Beautiful Location
*And memories that they will remember forever!
They got married on Ulua Beach in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii on May 8, 2009.
