Mel's Goddaughter...freakin' adorable...no need for further details.
Mel and Susan have known each other since sixth grade and way back when made a promise to be in each other's weddings. Mel's making good on her promise!
Funny, Kelly didn't like Mel at first...she was actually quite snarky to her. Not only was Mel the Mel of Honor in her wedding, she's also Godmother to her child. Go figure...
One of Scott's best friends he's made since moving to Olean, and a former coworker as well. Scott was such a good friend to him, that he even shared his divorce lawyer's number! Incidentially, Mel felt really bad cropping DJ's soon-to-be-wife Kelli out of this picture to make it just him for the wedding party pages! Photo snagged from DJ's Myspace page.
Another one of Scott's best friends from the area, another former coworker, and another friend good enough to share lawyers with! One of our favorite things to do is to hang out with Shane and his girlfriend Stefanie and play cards, games, go bowling, whatever! Photo snagged from Stef's Myspace page.
Since we're already married and all, we don't need a judge or a priest to perform any kind of official ceremony, but we did still want to have a vow renewal. After much thought, we asked Scott's sister, Tracy, if she would officiate at our "Second Verse, Same as the First" ceremony.
As a side note: notice the affection for Pittsburgh sports teams displayed in Tracy's shirt. All of our guest from Da 'Burgh will be please to know that the Steelers have a bye week the weekend of our reception.
