Just the girls.
The guys (names)
Henry, Norman, Emerson, Abram, Benjamin and Eric Thomas.
Sister-in-law. Bestest friend.
There are no words to describe our friendship. We've done everything. We've traveled. We've laughed. We've cried. We've gotten stuck on the side of the highway for hours and hours. We've hurt. We've rejoiced. We've taught children. We've argued. We've cooked meals, cleaned houses, danced, sang, written plays and prayed over nations and neighbors.
But most of all... we've followed God together. And that makes our friendship priceless.
I'm SO glad that my brother figured that out and married her before she had a chance to escape. God knew that I'd need her.
My "honorary sister-in-law" (def: someone who has all the rights and privilages of a sister-in-law but is not required to marry a brother to attain them.)
My personal stylist. My work-out buddy. My interest group companion.
We've taught children. Learned to follow Christ more. Laughed 'til we fell over. Had too many encounters with mud. Ate too many egg burritos. Sang too loudly. Danced too wildly (and in some very strange places.) And, of course, developed a new way to wash clothes.
I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Well, to make it simple... we're practically the same person.
We've shared so much...
a house.
our clothes.
our jobs.
our cars.
our hair color.
our sense of humor.
etc...
However, there are also the things we haven't shared.
...her love for soda.
...shoe size.
...and, well, our boyfriends.
Pretty much... she's FABULOUS.
My own personal eskimo. (everyone should have at least one.)
Oh, when I think of where we've been and all we've done. God is just amazing.
I can remember when she came down to Florida after the accident. I hadn't seen her in ages and she came walking in with her bruises and her story of God's grace. To think of where he's brought us since then!
A friendship that has spanned almost my entire life.
A love that has just gotten stronger through the years.
My Nikki Lynn.
I really love this girl.
Splendorishish.
Not a "proper" word- I know. But it describes her so well.
Flawless taste.
Perfect hair.
Beautiful home.
Hysterical sense of humor.
Charm.
Grace.
Caring.
She sparkles.
I'm so glad she settled into my group of friends.
Life would be so boring without her.
My sugarplums.
I love them so much it hurts.
My new nieces.
I already love them all. I can't wait to convince them that I should be their favorite Aunt. (Amos is, after all, the favorite Uncle.)
Pretty much... they're nieces too. Just not for real.
She sparkles. Honestly.
I love being with her. And I especially love hearing her talk about God. She has chosen to follow Christ and that "colors" her sparkle. She's simply beautiful.

Loveable.
Deanna is SO loveable. I just want to squish her. *smiles*
She draws people.
It's really amazing, actually.
And with a heart for the Lord and that affect on people... God only knows what he can do through her. I, personally, can't wait to see it.

Firey.
Larissa has fire. She sparkes and blazes. She's bright and visible.
People see her. People notice her.
God is crazy about her. I know he's crazy about everyone. But I think he's especially fond of her. And he uses her. I think sometimes it feels like he doesn't... but he does. Often.
And I know that he will use her even more in the future.
I'm serious. I think that when God looks on her a light blazes in his eye. I know that he simply delights in her.

Beautiful. Bubbly. Bold.
For some reason Auggie reminds me of B words, I guess.
When I think of her- I think of singing. Loud music. Bold lyrics. Shouting. And every single part of that echoing God's name.
She loves him. It's the most precious thing. You look at her and think, "Wow, she loves Jesus."
I wish I was like that.

Incredible.
She's incredible.
There is something about her...
It's like, you look at her and think- "Wow." That's it. Just WOW. She's amazing. She can do almost anything. Her laughter is contagious. She's incredibly beautiful.
Part of it is outward beauty. She just IS. But there is something deeper. It's like her beauty goes... in. You look at her and she's beautiful- all the way through.
It's exciting. It's wonderful. It's... WOW!
