Hiking:
Grey Rock Trail is a great hike with two options, a short, steeper one or a long, more gradual approach. Both reach the same view at the peak. It's free and easy to find the parking lot on the left as you drive up the canyon a few miles.
Mishawaka is a great place to enjoy lunch on their patio just feet away from the river.
