Hello, Julia and Michelle. No, we aren't on your guest list. I found your names, and the link to your LOVELY wedding web site, on the NC Equality site. What a wonderful idea; the NEXT time we get hitched (three times already) I'll definitely have a registry. Yes, we've been married three times (and yes, to each other): we had a holy union in 2000, presided over by our minister; we went to Vermont a year or so later and obtained a legal civil union; and we went to Niagara Falls a year or so after that and got legally married, with a real Canadian marriage license. We figure that if the USA ever starts changing the laws, and wants proof that we are an established couple ... we've got plenty of paperwork!
