Mike proposed to Lauren on July 9th, 2011 at Chicago Lakes, near Mt. Evans in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. One of their favorite back country hikes, Chicago Lakes was the first place Lauren took Mike after he moved Colorado so they could be together. Surrounded by rock cliffs and at the base of one of Colorado's most stunning 14,000 foot peaks, Mike got down on one knee, Lauren said "Yes!" and now we're Durango bound for the best party of 2012!
