We met in January of 2006 on a website called okcupid.com and hit it off right away. We started out as just friends first and got to know each other over a period of 4 months before we even met. Though I'm quite sure our first meeting could have been under better emotional circumstances, I didn't care. Though I'll not go into the deeper details, I will say that I drove the 500 miles to our first meeting because of some severe emotional distress. I just had to go see him, he was my whole world and I just couldn't let him go through this alone.

I drove 9 hours to go see him and it was amazing. To finally meet, and to have our first kiss together. ^_^ We weren't actually together yet, so that kiss was pretty much the beginning of the beginning of our romantic relationship.

After I returned to Florida (spent 4 days up there) we both confessed that we both felt we were around 10% or so in love with each other, and we never looked back. He soon there after asked if I would ever consider moving to be with him in NC and I said yes immediately. We were officially together around mid-May '06 (w/ no concrete date), and have been together ever since.

It hasn't been easy, but we've managed quite well. We've now been together over 3 years, and our wedding date will be our 4th anniversary.

We've been living together in our apartment in NC since Jan of '07, and we couldn't be happier.

We're planning our small wedding for May of 2010.
