"Hi...I'm Mike!"
This was the beginning of Mike and Maria.
Summer of 1994. Maria was still adjusting to life post freak shooting incident. Getting ready to head off to the Midwest to attend college at Penn State University. While she was in the theater watching Grosse Pointe Blank, just by chance, the only other people there were none other than Fanny Yu (the girl Maria was shot with at Paul's Kitchen) and her cousin Mike. Luckily, Fanny introduced Mike to Maria. Our first "Hello".

A new beginning.
Spring of 2005. It was a typical Friday night. Mike was in Old Town Pasadena with friends, while Maria was working as a hostess to earn her way to Spain. As Mike walked past the hostess, he thought "Does Maria have a twin? I have to find out or I will regret it for the rest of my life." Five minutes later, Mike walked away with Maria's digits!! The rest is history.
