An incredible group of family and friends
Once upon a time there was a bubbly, talkative girl named Missy. Then, before she was 2, there was a big event that changed her life forever. Along came me... and Missy has been eternally out-talked ever since. Together we are like night and day, but somehow we have always balanced each other out. There is no one else in the world with whom I can share so many childhood memories. I know I can always go to her for advice and a hypothetical shoulder to lean on because I'm never allowed to hug her (Missy has rules). Missy has been trained to rarely react when she hears "Ow, I'm fine" or "I'm okay!" I know I can always go to her to fix the things I break, get rid of the bugs that make me scream, and make me laugh when I'm feeling down. No one appreciates Missy's dry, subtle sense of humor more than her sister. Together we'll always be referred to as "the girls" and even though I'm losing my roommate, I'm gaining a brother-in-law. Welcome to the family Bill!
Missy is my girl. Well actually she’s Bill's girl, but Missy and I are like that. Like what you ask? Like Milo and Otis. Like Bonnie and Clyde. Like Ren and Stimpy. Since we met early on in college, we developed an instantaneous strong bond that has survived and grew over the years. We’ve dated, been roommates, classmates, co-workers, confidantes, pains in each other buttocks, listeners, advisors, and all around acceptors and endorsers of who each other are. She’s my bestie. During our first trip to the Renaissance Faire with her family, I felt so comfortable amongst them that I began eating Dennis’s fries off his plate. While initially shocked, the Sellittos realized that I was pretty much family and wasn’t going away anytime soon. As years passed by, Bill entered the picture and is now joining the family. He is a most excellent human being and complements Missy very well. Though I worried at first, I now know that I am not losing a significant person in my life, I am just gaining another one. And we all lived happily ever after. :)
Missy, oh Missy, where do I start? Missy is my aunt but she's also like a sister, mom, friend, teacher, disciplinarian and a bit more. She is my bestest friend when it comes to baking and playing games. My favorite things to bake with her are peanut butter bars, ricotta cookies, and cakes. Also I love to decorate the cakes with the icing tips. Mmmm mmmm! And who doesn't love her lemon bars? I love to just eat the lemon itself too! We love playing games against each other on our iPhones. I always pick song topics on Songpop that she isn't good at so I can win sometimes! Missy, thank you for being an awesome aunt, being there for the ups and downs, and supporting me through everything. I can't wait to be in your wedding and see you marry Bill. Love your #1 niece!
Shaun and Bill have a torrid past full of exploits, deception, international espionage and-- wait, no. I was trying to write this and watch the Care Bears movie. Let me start again... *Ahem* Shaun and Bill have known each other since middle school. Bandmates and horror movie enthusiasts, the pair will one day defeat the forces of the Evil Spirit and-- damnit! Stupid Care Bears movie again! Here goes: Bill is cool. Shaun is cooler. Bill + Missy = unfathomable awesomeness that not even the Care Bear Stare could rival.
Bill and I actually met through Shaun. I was invited to one of their band practices. Bill back then looked like Garth from Wayne's World. Later when Shaun left for the Army, Bill and I were inseparable. We went to horror movies, he brought me into his geek world (which I cherish) through comics, horror flicks, WWE, punk and psychobilly music including his Doyle action figure. When Bill first told me about Missy, I was a little protective. I believe I told him if she hurt him, I'd hurt her. Missy, you didn't. I remember when Bill told me he was falling for you. And I met you and fell in love with you as well. You two are amazing people and I am so glad that you are eternally going to drive each other nuts. Oh, and Bill- I still want Doyle. Cheers.
My name is Zayden. I am in preschool. I am 3 years old and very energetic. I know American Sign Language (ASL). There's never a dull moment around me! I can't wait to be in Uncle Bill and Auntie Missy's wedding!
