Tom and I were both working in the traffic unit on the same shift. We were partnered together and assigned to investigate hit and run collisions. That is when we became best friends. We became inseparable! If you saw Tom, I wasn't too far behind and vice versa. After a few years of working together our friendship began to blossom. We began dating and our relationship took off. We were together daily, at work and out of work. We both knew we were right for each other.

Then one day, Tom took me to a jewelry store and had a promise ring waiting for me! I was extremely surprised and excited!

A few months later, we went to South Coast Winery in Temecula for my birthday. It was so beautiful and we were having the time of our lives together. I didn’t think our trip could get any better, then Tom asked me to marry him and I said yes!
