Lizz was born in Seattle Washington to Leslie and Edie. Along with her older brother Anthony (Tony) and younger brother Peter, she grew up on a busy street in West Seattle where she spent most of the time outdoors. Whether it was swimming all day at Coleman Pool or playing capture the flag in Schmitz Park, Lizz was enjoying all the beauty West Seattle and Alki beach had to offer.
Lizz graduated from West Seattle high school in 1993 and later moved to Reno, Nevada to work for Reno Air. One of the perks working for an airline was flying first class free anywhere Reno Air flew. In less than 2 years, Lizz packed over a million miles under her belt. Lizz frequented Alaska as she was in awe by it's beauty. Her mom called the plane "Lizz's personal taxi".
After living in Reno for 6 years, Lizz decided it was time to move back to Seattle to be with her family and friends. Upon returning to Seattle, she went on a 3 month whirlwind tour of her parent’s hometown Hungary. Shortly after, Lizz's career as an Executive Assistant began. Several years later, Lizz completed her Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and is currently working in the IT department at the young and fun, travel company-Expedia. Lizz loves working with technology but admits she is not as geeky as she once was. The love of the outdoors has taken much needed time away from the computer, hence why this site has taken a while to post.
Lizz started skiing at the age of 14 with some instruction from her dad at Ski Acres. She skied several times a year for the next 3 years but didn't fall in love with the sport until 6 years ago. Lizz became a snowboarder for 4 years then when she met Nate, switched back to skiing. Lizz has been to several ski resorts in Canada, Tahoe, Washington, California and Oregon. Her favorite place is one that has lots of powder and sun.
